After 100%-ing the game, collecting every achievement, and taking every "class" out for a spin, I can say with a straight face (and only a slight gamer grin): this one’s absolutely worth your time.

While playing, I kept getting that “old-school RPG magic” feeling—the kind I remember from Skyrim, Morrowind and Gothic. The world is genuinely interesting, and it wants you to explore. It rewards the player who can’t resist checking “what’s behind that next hill”.

The dialogue is really sharp, engaging, and consistently worth paying attention to (no auto-skipping here). Combat is satisfying, skills are nicely varied too, and progression feels flexible rather than railroady. You can actually build a character in a way that feels personal instead of “pick the one correct build and pretend you had a choice.”

Visually, it’s not trying to compete with AAA spectacle—and honestly, that’s fine. The graphics may not melt your GPU, but the atmosphere does a lot of heavy lifting and does it well. It has its unique style, and my eyes skipped over its shortcomings easily.

And the Sanctuary of Sarras DLC? Great finishing touch. It complements the base game, expands the experience in a meaningful way, and feels like a proper “yes, this belongs here” addition rather than an afterthought.

If you’re craving an RPG that respects curiosity, rewards experimentation, and nails that classic adventure vibe, this is an easy recommendation.

The absolute pinnacle of gaming. I had begun to think I’d lost interest after years of playing countless titles. It turns out I was simply waiting for this one.

This is not a game, if anyone is wondering. It is a masterpiece.

Simply put - one of the best games ever created.

One simple reason as to why I would not recommend this game: Fallout 1st and OUTRAGEOUS price for something that should have been given to players for free. Not the private servers or ATOMS currency - that could stay behind the paywall but limited vs. unlimited stash is a scam of the century.

The game itself has improved since launch though still plagued with bugs. Wastelanders addon is a step in the right direction, hopefully in a year it'll be fun to play.
