I don't typically leave reviews, but this game deserves feedback.

Unequivocally one of my favourite games of the year, the depth of the story line this solo indie developer has displayed is commendable. Only after finishing and checking to see if I got a bad ending did I see that this game has been a 6 year labour of love and it shows.

Repella Fella while not typically my kind of game, made me laugh like an idiot (likely annoying the discord call I was in while playing it). As a fellow Australian the tongue in cheek pop culture references were spot on, due to the game hosting several languages in written text I often relied on screen-shotting the text to run it through a translator just to find out what it meant.

The lore was brilliantly written and kept me reading long into the extensive bomb dodger guide book provided.

The puzzle mechanics were engaging and sometimes really challenging, with just enough variety to keep them fresh and not overdone so it didn't feel like it was repetitive.

I will be back to check alternate endings of stories I wasn't able to complete and find the missed items which lock you from selecting story line options if you've not collected them.

I can't wait to explore the rest of Australia (or the world) through the lens of your alternate history if a sequel is made.
