I got to C rank in the game and played Technician for a solid day. This game is fun but it has lots of problems right now.

1. Diminishing returns
The game punishes you when you play too much causing you to get 1 token to level up your character. You need these tokens to get the level up rewards to unlock more characters. This is gatekeeping to a different degree. You physically must wait to unlock characters at a certain point. (About rank 20) This gatekeeps the higher crystal characters from being earned. I noticed upon reset I was able to earn 60/30/20/10/1 Tokens per day again. This locks you out of playing for rewards.

2. Lack of Zenny.
The game encourages you to vote/play tech role by giving you ACCESS to more quests when you fill a bar. 1000= a new quest. As #1 says guess what, you get diminishing returns.....which means using zenny to level your characters is ALSO gatekept by money rewards as well as token rewards. This makes you not want to continue playing.

3.Matchmaking
I have never gotten into a game as a 4 man stack after joining the discord group and trying to group. After high rank D/C/an amount of games played the game does not allow for bots anymore from what I have heard. I read posts saying they waited an hour and only played 2 games with a group. This is pretty unbearable to hear, just dont allow groups at all at this point if its going to be that bad or have one queue for singles only and one queue for groups.

I also noticed after hitting C rank my matches now take anywhere between 1 - 5 minutes to search for a game where as before I was only waiting 5-15 seconds. The game does seem to try to pair up ranks as a parallel to make it "even" but I dont think the games at the point where it can be fair without punishing you yet again for playing more.

In all your reward for playing the game more is met with a big slap in the face. The games fun and some of the characters are very weak compared to others and need to be balanced I'm looking at Frieza who desperately needs help as a tech only player but if you were kind enough to read this far know the game will be fun for a couple hours and then the wall will hit you hard.

Updating my review to say I still think the games stale. Every game right now is goku/goku ss3. Burst meta, matchmaking seems bad community is dying, game should be all solo q imo.

The has a lot of problems its had since the beginning and thats probably because of the community size. I can even imagine what it is at this point considering they are still putting out content instead of making a new game. Matchmaking is always terrible, almost every game I've been in its been horribly stacked. Having an open lobby system to the public instead of invite only/hotjoin matchmaking would be a lot better. Every time I quickmatch, Im on a team with 0/5 who someone already took the smart way out and decided to quit.

Honestly they need to stop putting out content and fix what they have.

They finally updated their maps, which was a good change. It fixed a lot of the easy chasing in some maps.

Putting out new characters....I'd fix the problems you already have but thats not how things are done these days.

Honestly I wouldnt touch the game online anymore, its amusing to play and good idea of a game, but its shortcomings come from almost never having a "good game." Its a pubstomp one way or another, ALWAYS.

For the love of god this is the biggest waste of 3-6 hours I ever spent for under a dollar. The last level even has a huge bug that requires you to lower the framerate just to get up a damn elevator to the final boss. I dont even know how consoles got to the end.

The game is unfinished, high budget, ends on a cliffhanger storywise, the only thing this game has going for it is a plot.

"Legendary" is the "Hackers" of Video Games.

Even at 80 cents, do not waste your money on this game.

It's just as fun as SR3 and then some. I feel like because you never had to worry about driving/vechiles really at all in game took a lot of the diffuclty out but it definately sped things up. None of this took a second away from my entertainment and I would play it again with a friend.
