I've bought several MDickie games in the past, both on this platform and others.

I will not make that mistake again. I am a bi dude (yeah that is important to this story). That MDickie can openly add propaganda supporting a man that said people like me should be killed makes me sick. I don't want to open a game I paid money for a year ago and see a poster of bad Charlie Kirk AI artwork.

Imagine buying a game, and long after the return window the dev decides to add an update where he professes his admiration for a man that said people like YOU should be killed with rocks?

MDickie will never get a cent from me again.

Always been a supported of MDickie even when people used to mock his games. I've bought most of his major releases on this platform.

Today MDickie revealed himself as a genuine horrible person. I feel dirty giving him money now.

I've always been a defender of MDickie. Even when he was the internet's whipping boy and people made fun of his games for being "crap" I would stick up for him. I was proud of him for never giving up, for refining his work, and making it to a point where his games were being played for genuine enjoyment and not to be laughed at.

I will never buy an MDickie game again.

MDickie added a poster of Charlie Kirk standing in front of an American flag to the game. Despite the media treating Kirk like he was some innocent angle who only preached the love of Jesus and family values, he was in actuality a horrible bigot who openly said people like me should be killed by stoning. Whether you think what happened to Kirk was or wasn't justified or a case of karama is irrelevant, because ones death does not rewrite the entire history of your life and change everything you did with your time on Earth even if it was grizzly. We don't just ignore everything you said in public for the last 5 years because of a tragedy. Kirk used his platform to preach that people like me should be dead. The fact that MDickie can say that ideas like that are "minor disagreements" shows how out of touch MDickie is.

If I bought a game, and a few years later the dev added a poster of David Duke RIP in it, I would be just as pissed as I am now.

And if you want to point and laugh at me and go "another butthurt F*g" well then buddy you just proved my point at the kind of fans Charlie Kirk had.

While technically about the end of the world, the design, writing, voice acting, and even the soundtrack make the story of El Paso, Elsewhere so deeply personal that it feels intimate. And I'm saying this about a game with werewolves in it.

This game is something special. If you like artsy indies then pick this one up. It's a can't miss.

Also if you get stuck on a level while streaming, the lead developer will jump in your discord call and read the lyrics to Alice In Chains songs until you beat it.

Now that the game is up and running and I've been able to play it, I feel that I can leave a more acurate review.

In short: This game is fun for a group of friends, gets right what most games in the genre get wrong, a treat for fans of the films, and actually scary.

I have played similar games to this one, or at least ones similar in theory, but this is the only style of game like this that has polished gameplay for both the victims and the killer.

Esentially, as the victims, you scrounge around looking for tools to escape. These can be items to that will help start a car or boat or a way to contact the police. Here is what sets it apart from other games: the maps to each level are huge. You have allot of territory to cover and just as many hiding places from the killer.

Similar games have made me feel clostrophobic while playing, and not in a good way that ramps up the tension. Rather, they just frustrated me and made me feel like my characters death was inevitable and cheap. With this game, you can frantically run through the woods despertley trying to lose Jason, stumbling around or running out of breath. There is a thrill when you escape him, but if/when you get caught it dosen't seem unfair.

This game gets it right. I hear people screaming "OH NO STAY BACK!" or "NO NO NO NO NO" frequently while Jason breaks the door down to a cabin many players are in. I've seen players give up their own lives to distract Jason so other players can make a run for it and potentially escape. I've seen players shoot at Jason only to accidently miss and kill a fellow camper Jason was stangling. I've frantically tried to get a wrecked car to start as Jason creeped behind us while ominous music swelled, only to have it start at the last second and drive away.

All in all, if you like the films, or want a fun game to play with friends with genuine scares that come from the frantic nature of the gameplay rather than a jumpscare in a cutscene, this is a good purchase.

Especially now that it's working.

I really wanted to like this game... so I did.

Really good two player action, good graphics and music. Can't wait to see what get's added down the line.

This game is not for the weak of heart! It is pulse pounding, nonstop, e-sports, 150% nitrous oxide, ride or die, take it to the limit but the limit was dry, action personified with a pair of kick-ass sunglasses!

I give it a 9/10. It would be 10/10 but I have a weak heart and I had to spend a week in the hospital after playing this at a party. Would like to play it again sometime but my doctor doesn’t think that's wise.

This game epitomizes the disgusting SJW movement. It's a feel good, hug-n-fluff game where you don't even have to kill anyone! What happaned to violence? What happaned to gore, guns, and good times? Have they been replaced with political(y correct) agendas?

90% of this game is just buying furniture for your animal friends, sending letters, and picking out wallpaper. If I wanted to play a game where I cleaned my room and did the dishes, I'd just listen to my mom and stop playing COD Black Ops 2.

The wallpaper is pretty good though, so overall I think I give it a 9/10.
