Incredibly awful even in fast forward mode because the translations are that bad.

To start, this is the first ever game I've tried where I didn't mute the music immediately. I watched the entire intro song (at least once, wink). I liked the concept of the story as presented... The beginning really pulls you in, then the ritual seals the deal. Fully recommend and wish-listed... If the demo is just the preview of what's to come, it'll easily be in the top of my list. Try the demo and see yourself. NOTE: I have to click received for free because it's the demo I'm commenting on, I'll happily pay for the full version.

Definitely worth the price not just for the *** but the story is really good also. Instantly wishlisted part 2, no doubts whatsoever. 5*

I'm not one that gets jump scared easily, this game did it multiple times. Cool concept and game. Now I have to try and get the other achievements! I took the slow and easy path to start but ended up sprinting a lot. Got the completion but it wasn't pretty. Leaving out details so you can find out yourself. I picked it up for free and I'm not sure if it's still that way but it's worth more than free.

Early Access Review
Changing my recommendation 9 months in.

The devs should have waited another year to release this given the crawling pace of development. So far just a few new quests - The missing person which gave a new portal and a quest that took 10 min to complete which opens putting potions on your belt. There was also the Easter quest which required the monthly fee if you wanted all the costumes. Also Player trading which requires paying the monthly fee to access. That's it, 9 months.

Now, the most recent weekly notification says that episode 5 is going on hold (not that much was being done there anyway) to focus on things that weren't asked for. More mini-games, which if it's anything like the PITA that alchemy has then it will be a hard pass. Also bounties for every profession which has potential only if the bounty list size is expanded (preferably unlimited). If it remains only 6 slots then it will be DOA. 6 slots is bad enough trying to share the space with the 3 professions that currently have them.

Ventures are still limited to 2 at a time for a 12-24 hour period each. There are 7 you could do each time period if this idiotic limit wasn't in place.

Combat improvements (sorely needed) were teased months ago and no word since. Drop rates for gear remain trash making it difficult to battle something at your own level. Not being able to drink a strength potion prior to starting a fight makes ranged battle nearly worthless.

This certainly IS NOT a pay to win game. It takes no time at all to do some levels and open an $800 loot box (in-game cash, not real)... before too many levels, you can have every ship unlocked. Don't bother doing upgrades in the hanger, even on the 5* ships upgrades are not noticeable whatsoever. There is nothing to actually spend money on. The only use for gold is to buy all 3 in-chapter upgrades which isn't needed. As long as you aren't picking the laser or health during a level, any other choice is descent. Missile is a must for those levels with bugged planes.

That brings me to the absolutely awful coding this game has. Planes can't fly that way. Ground and obstacles mean nothing. Planes disappear and restart. Upgrades in the hanger are garbage. Certain ships you can't even select. And if you do watch any ads, it's the same 3-4 ads of children games that range from 20-35 seconds a piece. Hopefully this was written by someone new to coding as a test bed and not someone whose been doing games for 20 years.

Painfully slow and drawn-out dialog that is boring to sit through until you get to actually interact with the game again. Very linear progression that hand-holds you so bad a 4 year old could do it. Puzzles aren't really puzzles. In a room with many objects to look at, once you hit the trigger one (even first) that starts a cut screen, most times you can't go look at the other things there. Long times in-between auto-saves without an option to manually save in the event you have to stop playing/lose internet etc which reverts back to the last save. In my case I was where Tyler meets the guy with a beard in the old house when I had to stop for work... can't remember how far back the last save point the game did was.

If you like puzzles and creepiness, try this out. 5 different games, some a bit longer than others but all on the short side, which I'd expect from a demo. Fun way to kill a couple hours.
