Micah 7:8–9
Do not gloat over me, my enemy. Though I have fallen, I will rise.
Though I sit in darkness, the Lord will be my light.

In 1898 Nektarios journeyed and didn't make it known that he was a bishop,
as another monk guided him they met a clairvoyant hermit.

"Brother how can you be walking in front of the Metropolitan of Pentapolis" said the hermit to the monk.

"Blessed be the name of the Lord" said Nektarios .
"Please do not say anything more about the Lord's humble servant".

"Yesterday the demons raged" said the hermit.
"They attacked me viciously, but when I said let God arise
and let his enemies be scattered they vanished".

"Why did they rage" asked Nektarios.

"Because today I would meet one of their greatest persecutors, I know you long for solitude.
but Serve the People out of your deep love for them and for Christ".
