I somehow missed this game when it released but seeing all the hype around KCD2, I thought I'd give this a shot first.

Damn, I'm gutted I didn't play this on release! It has been the most immersive singleplayer RPG experience I've had in many years. I've not been playing for long but I can definitely recommend so far, I've really enjoyed just getting stuck into the side quests and overall lore of the region. The game is very immersive and as Henry progresses from a lowly blacksmiths son, you really feel that growth in his abilities.

The combat is unique has been difficult to get used to, but after training with a certain NPC, it's starting to click. I think the combat is probably going to be the most divisive part of the game but I do recommend sticking with it, there are situations where it is better to ask for help from quest NPCs or use stealth, than try to fight like other games. You are an untrained blacksmith's son after all.

This is well worth the money, it's a good 1.5-2hrs of gameplay.

Incremental progress, getting more powerful each run. Feels well balanced between gameplay and progression, I didn't feel like it was getting too repetitive.

50 minutes of number go up, 50 minutes well spent.

Fun little incremental game :)

Middle of the road between D4 and PoE, much easier to get into straight away in comparison to PoEs skill tree. Respecs are easy so you never feel like you've bricked your character.

No idea what happened in the campaign, however endgame content is fun and this games crafting is great.

Server issues are getting better, Devs actively communicating/updating via Discord.
