As I'm sure most other reviews have already said, Dicey Dungeons has incredibly charming art and writing, a slappin soundtrack, and a very addictive gameplay loop. Of course, as the dice theming implies, this game involves heavy amounts of RNG, so if you're the kind of person who gets easily frustrated by bad dice rolls, this might not be the game for you. Me though? I've been playing competitive Pokemon for like 10 years, so I'm pretty much a masochist when it comes dealing with luck. Coming up with a strategy using the tools you're given to overcome the odds no matter how the dice both literally and metaphorically roll is one of the most appealing types of games for me. If that sounds even a little fun to you, I guarantee you'll enjoy Dicey Dungeons.

While The Legend of Bumbo doesn't have the same gameplay as The Binding of Isaac, being a match-4 puzzle game and all, the type of fun you'll have with Bumbo is definitely Isaac-like in spirit. It's all about taking advantage of what RNG gives you to get crazy combinations of items that will help you become unstoppable. If you like Isaac Rebirth or Isaac Four Souls (the card game), you'll feel right at home here.

As of right now, the game is relatively short and (in my opinion) on the easy side, but that's coming from someone with a lot of experience in both Isaac and in match-style puzzle games. It took me about 25 hours to get to 100% completion, although there are still some items I haven't seen. However, the developers have said updates are coming, and either way I definitely think that what's here right now is fun enough for the price.
