The social experiences brought on by the proximity chat and difficult AI enemies makes ARC Raiders quite unlike anything I've ever played.

Amazing art direction and music, best in class gunplay and fantastically well written lore make Destiny 2 the king of first person looter shooters.

The most impressive part of this game is how the the developers were able to perfectly capture what made the original Life is Strange so special. Before the Storm is amazing, and a worthy prequel in every sense.

This game is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ terrifying.

Do not play it. Or do play it, if you're looking to be deeply unsettled.

Pretty early on in The Sith Lords it become obvious that Obsidian really wanted to make their own game, without feeling constrained by the Star Wars franchise. The narrative itself is engaging, the gameplay has some few but welcome additions, and the characters for the most part vary between likeable and very well written, but the signature feel of Star Wars is for the most part absent.

It's also worth mentioning that the low development time is apparent, and even with the acclaimed content restoration mod the game overall suffers. Without spoiling anything the ending in particular is extremely lackluster, and many major plot threads are either left dead in the water, or left with far too little closure.

Overall the game itself is still very good and worth playing despite its flaws, but it's hard to recommend for anyone who is just looking for a Star Wars experience.

A truly Star Wars-esque narrative with amazing characters, a great respect for the license and deep role-playing gameplay firmly cements this game amongst the golden age of BioWare.

Even though space battles aside it plays like quite a generic shooter, Battlefront II makes flawless use of the Star Wars license, and combined with the immense amount of content this is a massively enjoyable game.

Not quite a fully fledged MMO, and not as in depth as a usual Elder Scrolls RPG, but a fantastic hybrid of both genres that can be immensely enjoyed if approached with an open mind. Additionally a generous B2P model make this one of the better MMOs that I've played.

Many games have tried and failed to capture the hardships of depression, loss and anxiety, but Life is Strange captures the essence of all of these with resounding success to tell a truly beatiful narrative about friendship that absolutely eclipses everything I've seen in the genre. For a game that is obviously trying to create an emotional response the moments of sadness or joy here never feel cheap, but rather well earned due to the depth of each character.

Life is Strange is a gold standard setter of narratives and character building, an absolute work of art from the visuals to the music and everything inbetween, and basically just an amazing game that I can't describe with text alone.
