We're so back! The LEGEND of all shooter games! Review from BFBC2 & BF3 veteran here (also some BF1 & BF5, 2042)

Haven't played PC for 5 years but this game brought me back! Although it has quite some bugs which really unbalance the gameplay (i.g. attack heli stuck spawning on big maps for one side). But the game plays so well! The gunplay is AWESOME and feels really good on all types of weapons. Sounds are incredibly rich and UI sound effects are perfection, especially when you make multikills! Don't forget to turn on WAR TAPES!

Progression and assignments feels rewarding and balanced too, requiring you to play all game-modes and to variety of things! (including those COD-like King of the Hill and Domination :/)

Community is GREAT!!! People always REPAIR and HEAL! Lots of PTFO and not too much camping. Love it!

9 maps but they feel like you're playing on 5 maps. All are small, not too much room for flanks, especially on Rush. The biggest (as it feels) is Operation Firestorm with much of cover upgrades on open parts of the map (comparing to previous titles)

Optimization is good, I could run 50-90fps on my GTX1070 (8gb), so I could play until I upgrade

As a downsides:
–worst minimap of all Battlefields (you can't set up, zoom in by "N") and cannot expand it
–broken minimap settings while in vehicle (in tanks your minimap is also not zoomed out, but in settings I've set in on 300)
–broken radar for aircrafts and helis (shows you only 50m around you, and not all the map or at least 1000m)
–poor hitreg and tickrate of servers
–we still don't have SERVER BROWSER. Battlelog was the best invention for searching online servers
–after each map you start a new matchmaking instead of playing on one particular server
–community server browser is disgusting and never lets you save your filters or follow custom servers (it was perfectly working in 2042, what happened?)

Waiting for new patch to fix it all

I'm happy to be the part of the greatest release of Battlefield game ever!!

P.S. DICE, pls, let us have dedicated servers and simple yet working Battlelog-like server browser instead of continuous matchmaking after each game, if you play with friends like 8 people, you cannot play together at all, as soon as they join your game it ends and then new matchmaking and server changes so they have to connect again.

P.P.S. Don't release new game next year, fix this game and let it live 3-4 years (5 preferably)


UPDATE: REDSEC, Gauntlet etc aren't true Battlefield modes
