I'm going to recommend this game overall because i am enjoying it so far and there is clearly a lot of work put there. To me it feels like a sandbox i can just play around in completing a miriad of objectives while relaxing rather than some epic adventure, similarly to how i felt about RDR2 and BOTW/TOTK.

Performance is pretty good, i am achieving a stable ~90-120 fps on my 2070 super and my 9800x. Using cinematic graphics settings in 2k, balanced dlss. Though i did have to spend a lot of time tweaking nvidia control panel settings and resolutions to get the game to not look so noisy and pixelated on my tv, It seems that running this on any resolution that isnt 4k will get you extremely noisy vegetation.



That said i do have some major gripes some of which need to be fixed asap:
- The control scheme, especially on a controller is awful:
-The jump key is the same key as picking up objects and interacting combined with the interact targetting not being very easy to work with is cumbersome.
- Some abilities require pressing thumbsticks but at the same time they require you to aim them or stay more or less still depending on what you are trying to do which is just kind of unfair to expect that level of precision and could easily be solved by making it a different button.
- besides those issues a lot of the general control scheme is very unorthodox but i can see myself getting used to it pretty quickly.
- just, let us rebind actions and not just keys and that could all be solved.

-the graphics requiring an enormous ammount of tinkering both inside and outside the game to get something that does not look all pixely and noisy depending on your monitor.

- I think they did an awful job at advertising the type of game it is, infact i wasnt sure before buying it what to even expect.


A lot of negatives but they are issues that are very fixable, however should they decide to ignore them i would not recommend the game.

Game may throw some off in the first moments, but you will quickly get around and absolutely adore the game. Currently in early access, it is rapidly improving and being updated frequently.

The discord community is very helpful,friendly and active, always ready to help new players or share ideas.

Modding support is stellar, easy to get into, allows a lot of freedom and easy to keep up to date.

I've been waiting for this game since the kickstarted campaign first started. This game is everything i had hoped it would be. The developers definitely delivered their promises on this.
