I will write a more detailed review later on, but for now all I can say is "Wow!"
I would never have expected an unknown game like this to blow me out of the water in just the first hour like Pluto did.

Game is good, still bit wonky balance, since it's in Early Access, and will be for a foreseeable time, with frequent patches and balance changes.
Much better accessibility options than its predecessor already, including a phobia mode, more playable characters, and an unlock system interwoven with the lore of the Spire.
If you have played the first parts with an excessive amount of mods (like I have), you will notice many systems introduced by mods be picked up in the second part, but rebalanced and often simply executed better.

It just seems to be a rule to not interact with the community of popular new games, so just appreciate the game for what it is and what will become of it, not what people acting like game balance experts will tell you in excessive rants, that will be inaccurate within 1-2 months worth of patches.

What's to say?
- It's free
- Dev is working on Linux support (already works fundamentally on beta branch)
- It makes your games look cooler (I use it for sharper upscaling of Helldivers 2 from a small window)

Helldivers 2.
A democratic (Terms and Conditions apply) space special force roleplay sim, packaged into a 3rd person shooter of such galactic immensity it breaks the game.
The gameplay loop and (in-game) community are amazing, as well as the base execution of the game idea.

The game also has some pretty annoying stuff going on, there's a loooot of bugs (the code ones), many features are missing or only implemented in a "hey we did it, yaaaaay..." way (weapon customization, saving loadouts, lots of equipment stats are not shown in-game) and more.

Would I still recommend the game? Definitely
Do I think the game could be a lot more than it is right now? For certain
Do I hate Fleshmobs? Absolutely

Also keep away from the reddit and discord community, reading other recent reviews will give you an idea why.

If you like RTS and MOBA games, and have too much time on your hands, this is perfection.
Utterly complex and very hard to learn, and even harder to attempt to master it.

The most relaxing stressful game

Do you want to stress yourself out and scream "♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ Forest Fires" through your apartment? Then this game is for you!

Except for the "free to pay" aspect of this game, this is ridiculously fun to play!
The AI could use an upgrade or two, the dinosaurs seem way broken in one-on-ones against humans, but since this still is in development, I'm sure there will be many changes and polishing in the future.

Perfect to just hop into with a group and ka-blammo each other!
