That was not a request. It is a statement of fact. It is your future. It is coming. I HAVE SEEN YOUR DESTINY.

In all seriousness, this is a heavy contender for my favorite game of all time. I have played many a boomer shooter in my time: classics like Doom, Quake, Duke Nukem, etc. Even some modern shooters: DUSK, Amid Evil, Prodeus, Forgive Me Father. All of them absolutely stellar experiences worthy of praise.

But NONE OF THEM are Ultrakill.

The best way I could describe this game is Quake meets Devil May Cry. In fact, the website DevilMayQuake.com redirects to the Steam store page for this game. But, in my opinion, there is so much more to this game. The mechanics, the weapons, the game flow, everything weaves together to create an experience like nothing I have ever played before, one that, once you start diving deep into those mechanics, becomes increasingly hard to put down. It already feels like a complete game experience. And yet it's STILL IN EARLY ACCESS.

I love this game, I'm excited for what else the developers have in store, and you should be too.
