I’ve been with this game since the very first minute of its global launch, and I’ve seen both its highs and lows unfold in real time. At its peak, it delivered one of the most impressive MMORPG launches in recent memory—large, ambitious, and genuinely exciting. You'll find a lot of people nowadays dooming and glooming but this game is awesome! A big part of that comes down to how you approach it. Goal setting is key—whether you’re chasing gear, builds, or specific roles, the sense of progression feels rewarding if you give it direction. I've built gear for both pve and pvp tanking, pve dps, and a really scuffed healer but they all were fun for me to strategies and work towards. You can build strong connections, join large communities, and create memorable experiences. That said, like many MMOs, not everyone sticks around—burnout, frustration, or the pull of the next big game can take people away. It’s just part of the cycle. At the end of the day, this is a game best enjoyed at your own pace. Take it one step at a time, shape your experience around how you want to play, and there’s a good chance you’ll really enjoy it. And if it doesn’t click? It’s free so there’s nothing lost in giving it a shot.

This game has so much content to do that it's actually overwhelming for a new player, great thing though is that the developers are currently working on simplifying a lot of the aspects of the game (mainly items, starting quests, and guaranteed pen items). I've played this game very casually since about 1.5 years ago and am still enjoying it. The community is very helpful when it comes to questing, equipment set up, and guides. I can still say that for a new player to be introduced to this game a person guiding them especially through their first season and enhancing session (DO NOT use crons on seasonal characters/gear and if you do please record it). I personally was introduced to this game by someone else who helped me with getting started and the basics and now I have twice as many hours as them. This is a great game and one of the modern greats when it comes to the MMORPG genre.

Changed the review after Sony reverted the PSN account linking. This is a fantastic game with an extremely dedicated player base that has now cemented itself as one of the most united communities in the current gaming space. I love this game, I love democracy, and I love to see how the community banded together under one IRL Major Order. THIS IS A DAY OF TRUE DEMOCRACY AND LIBERTY!!!!
