A very fun and well thought out game. The style reminds me of the old Half Life Black Mesa game. Its a survival craft game with a story that unravels itself as you progress your way through the GATE facility. Highly recommended, especially with friends. If you can get past the retro graphics art style and like survival crafting with a story, then this is the game for you. 10/10 experience.

What can I say? So far, performance runs great on very high settings with my 4090 using 1440p and DLSS enabled. For people with lower tier cards, good luck lol.

At first I thought it was going to be some short indie turn-based game, and was I totally wrong. This game is extremely fun, especially with friends. You have random encounters in every corner with the possibility of getting loot for your characters, some even give you a choice to go for a challenge to get bonus rewards. Besides that, there are a lot of different classes to choose from.

Honestly, I like this game a bit more than For the King which has similar graphics, and I highly recommend Stolen Realm for people who are familiar with other popular D&D type turn-based games.

Its a good game, even better with friends! The developers have been constantly rolling out patches and updates, so you know they actually care about the game.

UPDATE: 5/4/2024
It is not a good look when a PSN account is forced upon the PC players which is causing problems for others that can't access PSN. The fact that PSN is even involved with Steam is already an issue. To be clear, the game itself is not the issue, it is a very fun game.

The lesson to be learned here for future developers is to not associate with big video game corporations, it always ends badly because of greed and bad decision making in which loses them money.

EDIT: 5/5/2024
The terrible PSN requirement decision made by Sony has been reverted, people in other countries that don't have access to PSN no longer have to worry. Hopefully Sony has learned a valuable lesson here.

An amazing game, other developers should take notes.

With that said, Larian Studios should look into creating custom multiplayer tools for players to create custom campaigns, much like how the developers at Tactical Adventures did with Solasta.

Years ago I hoped Bethesda would create a game like this, however I still feel as if it lacks in the quest and story department compared to other Bethesda titles, especially the side quests. Graphics looks great, but animations are what you can expect from a Bethesda title. Space exploration is nothing like No Mans Sky, its more like Space loading screens and then you click where you want to land. Space combat is alright, nothing spectacular.

After completing the game once then speeding through to NG+10, I feel as if there really is no point to NG+ besides seeing Constellation HQ differences when you arrive and a few new dialogue options in certain scenarios. With exploration, you will see the same randomly generated type of structures on planets which gets old quick, they definitely could have improved on this but didn't.

Bottom line is the replayability of Starfield feels pointless much like many other games once you have completed the main content. With all that said, sadly I cannot recommend this game as the game design was implemented poorly on key elements which could have made the game as what was envisioned which such a large scope.

I'm a longtime fan of this trilogy and highly recommend giving this game a shot. This is by far my favorite game trilogy I've ever played, anyone that likes space age 3rd person shooters with a fantastic story should not hesitate purchasing this game.

I'm proud to say that I've already unlocked every achievement on the original console versions back in the day. I wont go for every achievement on PC this time, but I beat all 3 games on insanity mode again!
