Yep, this is one of those games where you think: Yeah, let's play a quick game and then realise the sun is starting to come up again.

great game if you like to have fun and work together.
Really looking forward to updates!

After 100+ hours i can conclude the game was rushed and the PS4 version got priority...
My only hope is that the updates will fix the game...and give it some content...
If you want to buy it, wait for all the (upcoming) updates...

well it's actually a game now,
the planets / generations are still a bit 'meh' to me
i still would like to see stuff like vulcanoes / lakes / jungles etc etc
not just random colours / textures / effects, every planet still feels the same
its all just random randomness... so for me still miles wide but inches deep.

all the tech and other stuff has got some nice updates though...
multiplayer & basebuilding can be fun if you have some resources.

i still see variations of the same animals everywhere, better animations are great, but they are freaking boring.
Story has had some good updates. They added boatloads of extra features.

the biggest problem i still have with NMS is that it all feels so 'normal'
nothing is extreme. Planets / wildlife / flora it's all kinda the same...

but maybe i will get lucky with some future update, which will add some depth to the (planet) generation (like north and south poles/vulcanoes and other extreme things like animal sizes or other weird stuff)
Less fluffy would be nice yes...



so yeah...it's a cool game, but i still miss the things that i expected from the start.
