This game is great, and the Devs are awesome, constantly updating & adding new cars, fixing bugs, and letting everyone know via their Discord server.

So I've played for about 3 hours so, I've pretty much completed it.

I will warn you though..

DO NOT PAY ATTENTION TO THE SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS
They are wrong, I have a 4080 Super, once you get halfway through the Birch trees,
you'll be getting 11 FPS if you have the same card, there's ZERO optimisation, and the game uses a ton of CPU.

If you have a lower system spec to mine (profile), you will not get on well with this game, it needs serious reworking of everything.

Now.. If you still want to give it a go, then go for it, it has a low price for it's low quality. Best start by getting your stamina maxed as soon as possible, you'll need to focus on the stamina mainly, with some inventory every now & then, you can upgrade your strength & axe also, which will help get more resources.

I assume it's a Developer that's learning how to make games, it's not terrible, but Dev focus should be on improving the FPS, lowering the CPU, and then AFTER that, adding more things to do.. slowly.

So this game is all about either paying off a large debt you owe, or betraying the people who have kidnapped you.

Bags & Bags of money drop from the sky, and it's your job to sort it out between dirty, wet or marked bills, while this can be a fun game, there one glaring issue.. The money counters.. Can't count correctly..

However, it is pretty enjoyable and seeing the stacks of bills go up over time, is pleasing.

I cannot recommend it in it's present state, be aware there are still bugs that seem to go unaddressed.

Although there are glaring issues, I would recommend this to play.

It's pretty fun, but can be short to get everything.

Downsides are: Some trash types are wrong & confusing, and it's LAGGY, real, real laggy when it breaks things, and especially when saving, it takes forever to save. It also saves whenever you do anything, buy new equipment '3m save', open the shop.management, and forget to press F again '3m save'..

I feel it's not very optimised, and some things could be done way better, but, it's ok to play if you ignore these issues.

For the record, I REALLY want to like this game, however, there's just many things wrong with it. I cannot recommend it in it's current state.

The UI: HUGE is an understatement, maybe it's meant to be marketed at people with partial blindness I'm not sure, but it's so big, that it actually interferes with how the game is meant to be played, if you have 2-3 customer standing next to each other, and you use the interaction mechanic, you cannot see what they are responding, because if there's multiple, they cover each other. All they need to do is add a good UI Scale slider in the options.

The interaction mechanic: My god, it's so bad I'm just not even using it if I can help it, it's such a bad design, it's un-intuitive, pointless, and tbh a waste of time. This should just be removed in all honesty.

The store designer: You cannot rotate the store, therefore, if you place something behind the front windows, you have to remove the front windows, to be able to move what you placed behind them, just another design flaw it seems. Easy fix, add the option to rotate the store.

Customers: They are slower than zombies, they come into the store, stand in front of the products, for hours, and by the time they pick something to buy, it's closing time. Of course, that's if they don't walk past all the products, or stand right next to them, and then ask "where can I find this product", while it's directly in front or behind them, the AI is as dumb as a tree.. Scratch that, trees are way more clever. Fixing this requires more work, speed them up, make them decide faster, have them walk to the register when they are ready to checkout, instead of just standing there, with a stupid icon over their head (see Supermarket Simulator).

Store level: As you play, your store gains levels, which is good, however, if you fail any interactions, or customers are left waiting for help, or for the checkout for too long, you lose rep, this means your store can de-level, which is the most pathetic idea ever, especially as the interaction system is atrocious. Once the dumb interaction mechanic is removed (hopefully), maybe this won't be such a problem, or failing that, just don't let it de-level.

Sounds: There's a door sound (nobody cares), there's a sound when you gain or lose XP (nobody cares), you can sometimes hear a dog bark +1 for that, there's no ambient sound in the store, no music, no customers chatting.. It just sounds dead most of the time, except for sound effects, for things nobody cares about. Pretty easy to fix this, and I shouldn't have to explain how, should be common sense.

It's slow pace makes the game boring, waiting hours for customers to buy something, only for your store to de-level because they got annoyed at YOU, for not giving them the correct response to their pathetic icon over their head, mainly because you have no idea wtf they are asking.

Supermarket Simulator does it how it should be done, this does not.

What a nice and relaxing 'cosy' game, I've read it's similar to Animal Planet, I've not played that so don't know.

You start your new life, on an island, ready to make new friends, complete quests, and set up a new life, there's farming, animals to look after & breed (higher tier), lots of flowers to breed, 6 different flowers, 12 different colours, you can even change the colour of the animals while you breed them, if you want.

4 seasons, 6 default crops (replant each season), 6 seasonal crops each season, and 6 Fae crops (can also replant each season), these in turn make a lot of different food items, and such.

As of writing, 3 dungeons to go mining in, each with 25 levels, mobs & resources to help you upgrade your tools, and gens to help you gain some money.

Bug catching, fishing, crafting, cooking, lots of things to do, while following the story.

It's also co-op, so your friends can play with you, providing you all have a Phoenix Labs account, just remember, the host is the one who has to provide the money for upgrades.

You can get different coloured wings for your char, and there's some cosmetics in game to make your char look smart, and lots of decoration items for your house, of which you have 3, tho you can only use 1 at a time, you house can also be upgraded, giving you more space, and the furniture inside grants bonuses for your char.

There are some things that I think could be done better, but overall it's a nice & relaxing experience.

At time of writing, I am streaming it on Twitch.

I enjoyed the first game, which I streamed, this time it's a YT series, we're going through all the ships, till we run out, and if they add more, we'll do those also.

The game is great, I love the new physics system, and the fact you can break the entire ship down in this one is awesome.

Unlike the first one, you no longer have to replace blades, or refill fuel on the tools, but they still need upgrading, and this time you can get each tool to level 10. Also, no more using a smelter to combine metals for the upgrades, you do have to buy blueprints, but you just use the resources you gather from the ships you are breaking down, it's a much better system.

Graphics seem better, but as of writing this, I'm still on a GTX 980, but they look fine to me, you get to drive another truck around, to collect the material, there's also contracts per ship to complete, for some extra cash.

A sorting system has been added, to sort all the left over materials into the scrapyard, it's like a mini-game where you have to get them in the correct bin, and you get a bonus for not missing any, however, if you do miss any, you can re-sort them, and you seem to still get the bonus.

It's actually quite fun to bash these ships to bits, and get through the career.

I generally have loved this series, I've played every one from 2009, up to this one, So far the best one has been FS19.. Yes, that's right, Farming Simulator 19, is & will be for a long time the best one..

I don't know how many hours I'll put into this version, as it's simply not as good as 19 is, I would also urge others to buy 19, instead of this one..

With this version, full emphasis was thrown into the season's system, which used to be a mod in 19, now I never really cared for the season system, I just wanted to play & have fun.. This version incorporated that system, and EVERYTHING is tied to it, even if you turn it off, the crops & time is still tied into that system, which I find plainly just complete rubbish.

So far, I've played this a lot, but I find, while in 19 I could literally play it for weeks, I can only play this version for a few hours, then I get totally bored of it.. Mainly, because I have to sleep through days/months, just for my crops to grow..

I feel like they may have added new stuff, but they messed it up from the fantastic game it was, I pre-ordered FS19, this one, not only did I wait for a sale, I actually got it from a completely different source, at half the price it was new, as I didn't wanna pay the full £35 for such a piece of crap..

It's just boring to play, they added more crap for you to do, like Mulching (that nobody does, as it's not worth the time or effort), they still have the weed system (which even in 19 nobody used, because it was buggy as hell, and they don't use it in this version either).. I can't 100% put my finger on it, but.. It's just not as good as 19..

So.. Do I recommend this?.. NO.. Do I still recommend 19.. Sure..

EDIT, Trying to write this review, the game wouldn't let me post it, I had to write a different one, then edit it to my original.. Interesting censorship there...

What a nice relaxing game, I will admit, I think the building aspect could have been better, but the rest of the game was real nice to play, super enjoyed it.

Finished it today on stream (once per week, 4 weeks), would love to see more content added, to continue my adventure..

Now, I would have had all the achievements, but I was 90% done by the time of release, when they got activated >.<

This game is great, specially if you take it in small bites..

The theme is fits it very well, and the graphics are also nice, and work very well with the idea.

Here you run your very own tavern, you build it up slowly from the ground up, adding more floors, more bars, and even a kitchen!

You can unlock Adventures! You can send adventurers out on little quests, to collect special ingredients, you use these to complete your own set of quests, to unlock more things, like kitchen recipes, paintings & floor tiles!

Hire & fire staff, from barkeeps, waitresses, to scholar's.. If they are not performing well, get rid of them, if they are fantastic at their job, give them a raise.. As long as you keep them happy, they won't quit.

Hire minstrels, to play tunes to your happy customers, and keep them entertained!

I have created a series over on YT, if you wanna see it, before purchase, however, you will love it, and buy it anyway! - https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLl5WzLcKXLoyUAFoBgHycRvW26FIWPZMw
