Arc Raiders is one of the most awesomely balanced hybrid of a lot of the good games of the last 10 years.
An extraction shooter sort of like Escape From Tarkov - but with some tweaks that make human interaction meaningful, and less grim. Still weapon crafting and upgrades and modifications, and extraction, but much more up to the player when you want to engage in combat, if, and whether you want to team up with others or go full PvP.
The in game looting and the maps can feel a bit like PUBG, but without the loot-simulator feeling of that one, and less of "oh I got shot a mile away, and everybody has to die" feeling. Fighting the PvE elements is fun, and can always become a challenge.
Less incentive for spawn/extraction camping, since everybody wins if you avoid PvP in the last 5 minutes.
Highly recommend it - well made game!

An amazingly addictive clicker, made perfectly and balanced by a solo-developer.
Can highly recommend - if you are into being mesmarized and spending some hours on a highly addictive thing.

A well-balanced weird mix of tower-defense and factory-building game. It's pretty short, like 20-30 hours of playtime - but quite addictive, and the game-loop means you will be losing until you upgrade your towers and abilities. If you are for taking your time building factories, this is not for you, there is definitely a time-constraint on everything you do, but it also pushes you to be effective - not necessarily super clean and organised :D

Can whole heartedly recommend this game.
Do you like clutches in CS? Do you like wingman mode but would like it at a grander scale?
Do you occasionally yell at your colleagues cause they didn't cover your ass?
Do you like your bullets hitting where your crosshair is at? And the abilities in your avatar to make high IQ plays?
This game has all that, and some quite awesome collaboration as well.
Unfortunately, the only downside, is the player count, and what that entails (too high skill gap within same lobby, new players calling experienced cheaters, long waiting times in queue, etc.)

I've always loved and hated the factorio genre games, for their progression and the fact it's always about obliterating local ecosystems because "the factory must grow". This game is such a wonderful gem. Doing automation for the greater good - and the way the various phases make you truly find a home on that little planet is so wonderful. If they added some extra steam achievements, I would easily sink more hours into this game (some bugs still exist, but I am willing to accept them).

Litterally unplayable.
I can complete the tutorial - and then just be hardstuck on the very first mission since matchmaking is utterly broken.
Don't waste money on games that is released in an utterly broken state.
Not to mention, you are forced through a cumbersome signup process in order to even play, and after all that, you get to wait for an error message time and time again.

Wait at least till they get their release in order to buy this game.

Satisfactory is truly an amazing game, it takes the the wonders of a beautiful world, that you get actual rewards out of exploring (No Mans Sky, Ark) and combines it with the extremely satisfying feeling when stuff clicks (Factorio). It takes base-building to the next level. Regardless of whether you just want to farm/grind stuff, want to reach highest tier as fast as possible, or simply make your factories beautiful, there are a ton of totally satisfying gaming-hours in this game. Totally recommended

It started out a really nicely made game, if you are into levelling, mmo, rpg crafting, exploring, cooperation.
If you require a strong quest-line and story-mode, this might not be for you.
But then the bugs just became totally game breaking - and the reasons for levelling or even playing the game became totally irellevant. Gathering stuff, levelling skills, totally irellevant. Every part of this game loses it's purpose extremely fast. Do not recommend.

An extremely awesome survival and exploration game, every journey is an adventure, the immersion is really good - and the different challenges are truly well-balanced. Totally worth the cost, and a lot of awesome game-hours and experiences.

If you like to play a really good game, with a lot of layers in terms of strategy and communication, CS2 might be for you. Just beware - it is virtually impossible to play without a lot of russians on european servers - and they do tend to consistently exhibit toxic behaviour. Additionally, every deathmatch is littered with players being controlled by bots - they are just farming crates for criminals. Valve does nothing.

Even though you report players and block them, odds are they will be in your lobby next time you queue up for a game again.

Even worse - there is absolutely no way you as a casual player can chose not to play with people that yell and write in russian to you. No region lock, no language selection. Just angry russians or russian speaking players. It's a real frustration for any north or west european casuals. Valorant does it better, far better.
