I’ve really enjoyed playing AoW4 with my husband and friends. Since he has certain DLC, I love that I can play as other factions like dragons. The AI can be a bit weak, but co-op play is a blast, and updates have polished it nicely.

I'm not super far into the game but so far it's good.
I bought it to play with my fiancee since we both enjoyed the Borderlands series and this game reminded me of it. There are still some minor bugs and issues but I'm assuming the devs have cleaned it up quite a bit form when it first came out.
One thing I didn't expect is that I'd actually enjoy the shooting mechanics seeing as i suck at shooting games lolz. I find myself using the long range guns more which again is odd since...i have a hard time hitting things that aren't trying to also hit me (long running joke for when i play RE)
I'll update my review once we finish the game (Maybe if I remember)

Like Stardew Valley (I think this is the comparison most people make as it is an 8 bit game. I grew up playing Havest Moon and Rune Factory and so that's where my comparison is) with a sprinkle of Sweeney Todd.
I really enjoy the dark and random humor.
It can be a really confusing and sometimes overwhelming experience but once you learn where everything is and how the tech branches work it's much easier.

If you enjoyed the first game you'll like this one too.
I think its got some of the the best DLC of the series

I got this game becuase DS is one of my favorite games and i wanted to play with my friends.

Ive probally spent more than 100+ playing this by myself though because its so much fun to build a "village" and then have my friends pop in to see all the hard work lolz

If youve played DS and want to share the experience with friends then i recommend getting this game.
Playing with friends makes it even better because you can prank each other....or you know.... work together to not starve to death.
