Best game to test your friendships. You'd either end up with less friends than you had when you started this game or come out with a reinforced bond that has endured the trials of fire, name-callings, and unadulterated maldings.

Some people commented how this is a Papers, Please rip-off. I'm here to tell you that it isn't. A spiritual successor, sure. A love letter to Papers, Please and its fans, absolutely. But if you play Not Tonight past mid-game, you'll see that it offers a lot more than "just a rip off" while also humoring fans of the genre who don't really have other games like this to enjoy.

As to the politics side of it, I understand why some people are pissed because it hits a little too close to home. Well, I'm neither British or European, so I have no say in the matter. I did enjoy supporting the resistance though ;)

I played this game during the Free Weekend. Thank you so much for making it free, even if it was only for 2 days! Such a fun trip down memory lane. I used to play a ton of Theme Hospital. I'm glad to see that the same wacky humor and charm is still there, but also with a lot of improvements. With so many new stuff to unlock, research, and use, I can see myself playing this game for a ridiculous amount of time (and that's a great thing!). I also love how I can train all of my staff now, and how the patients can chat with each other (and hold dance parties??) while waiting in the hallways. Adorable little touch there, devs :)

I've been wanting to buy this game for months now. Thanks to the Free Weekend, now I know for sure that it can run on my potato PC (a bit laggy during autosaves and busy times, but still very playable). I'll definitely buy it sometime in the future, after I save up some money or when the price drops a little bit more. However, for Theme Hospital fans, I do think the game is worth its full price.

Edit: I finally bought the game! It's still hella addictive. I've been playing it for hours and it's 4 am now and I probably have to sleep sometime today... Maybe after one more Monobrow stomping?

This is a Dr. Lisa Cuddy simulation, minus House.

I just started playing but 10/10 will gladly sink hundreds of hours into this game.

Early Access Review
This game made me feel 100% sure that I made the right decision in not pursuing a career in engineering. But this game is also 100% full of fun and heart. There's no other game like this, nothing even close. This is one of the few games that I know I'll be playing (and trying to master) for years and years to come.

Edit: It's now 2023. Having played this game for more than 1600 hours, I'm proud to say that I know how thermodynamic works now. I should get a physic or engineering degree or something out of this. No, I still don't want to pursue engineering IRL but thanks Klei for making learning about it so much fun! And props for keep giving us free updates!

This game makes me feel so badass with very little efforts on my part. I'll always appreciate that in any game :P

Very enjoyable, highly addictive, can be challenging at times, and always so much fun to play! If you enjoy this game, you should get the Labyrinth DLC too. It makes the missions and gameplay even more interesting, IMHO.

Taking three years of typing courses in junior high finally pays off! This is the best and most beautiful Typing Course Simulation ever!

Jokes aside, I think the game's premise is brilliant: A writer (the Narrator), suffering from a massive writer's block, lets her character takes control of her own story. Because the Narrator is a writer, it makes perfect sense that typing takes center stage in the gameplay. I recommend this game to anyone who enjoys fast-typing because that's the only way to play the game.

Graphic is amazingly detailed and beautiful, even whimsical at times. But the game isn't too shy to flirt with the bleak and the morbid. Great concept with great execution! I love it so much, I'm playing it very slowly to savor it. I don't want it to be over so soon!
