Terratech was the first vehicle based action/crafter game I've played. Absolutely loved it.
From the simplicity to the complexity, you want a rover, cool just snap some blocks together...
You want a flying death machine, that's going to take a bit more work then just snapping blocks together, you'll need to consider weight distribution, attack angles of the weapons you're putting on.

If all else fails, throw a couple of Cruise missiles on your craft and you're G2G.
