The game was great until the 09/25/2025 patch. I was getting solid frames, zero hitching or stuttering, and never crashed once. It DID make my CPU run on the warmer side, but that was something I could work around on my own. However, since the aforementioned patch, I consistently have had stuttering no matter where I am in the game. After having nearly 100 hours at the time of this review be a near flawless experience for me, it's sad to see where it has landed due to the recent patch. I hope this gets fixed soon because this has been a GREAT game for me so far.

EDIT: Devs reached out to let me know that this is pretty typical for new patches and to basically "trust the process" and play through it to let the shader cache readjust. I did this and all the stuttering went away around 15-30 minutes of actively playing. It was a struggle to get through the stuttering but it is mostly gone now. Major respect for Gearbox for reaching out after posting my original review.
