A lot of depth for an idle game, lot's of character and interesting quirks and mechanics. My hours although this is an idle game speak for itself. Honestly I put it up there with cookie clicker. Probably the best part of this game is that there are many many mechanics to pay attention to whereas other top idle games tend to fall flat on rinse and repeat mechanics. There is much more than just the simple "ascension, spend prestige points, repeat" to this game. Much much more.

literally sweating fighting all these weird 7 year olds in this. It's like that question of how many 10 year olds do you think you can fight.

One of a kind, polished in the wrong places, a bit shallow.

TL;DR: Many key problems are currently present. Balancing is very off. Key mechanics like repairing your truck consist of glorified battery replacement. You can't chain together multiple jobs like a real trucker would. You can't even change any keybindings. Why would they release the game like this? If I knew it was Early Access I would have waited to buy and then I wouldn't have been disappointed when I finally bought it

It's very interesting to see a game where space trucking is the sole purpose. Other space games where you play a space trucker are usually a means to some other greater goal, better ship, etc like in Elite Dangerous.
At the moment it feels a little like a late development early access game? I'm only 4 hours in, but I feel like I've seen enough mechanics to say I think the game might be a tad shallow?

I was really excited by the maintenance aspect as a mechanic. I love the idea of actually having to maintain your truck and this is a shining feature that separates this game from other trucking games. But unless there's more content ahead of my playtime, all there that's to it is swapping the most Chinesium batteries I've ever seen. I mean these things die constantly, and I don't think there's any way to recharge them. And that's kinda it on maintenance...sometimes you have to change out another part that's right next to the battery called an ECC or something. Currently the maintenance is boring and a completely nuisance as I'm stopping every 20 minutes for another battery for my bloody gravity drive or oxygen system with all my interior and exterior lights off so I don't have to change core battery power every 20 minutes.

Things I'd love to see are:
* More options to do maintenance, maybe on your own hull
* balancing the fact that taking a hit from certain sometimes seemingly invisibile space debris will cause you to take 100% hull damage instantly wiping out the last few jobs you took on and costing $3,000. Maybe do your own temporary maintenace?
* Purchasing different trucks/ships
* More complex/fun/puzzley maintenance, holding left click on something is not the most entertaining
* More CB chatter, idk why I thought maybe NPCs passing by would give some amount of chatter, but most of the time I'm feeling a little lonely like in Truck Simulator
* more interesting upgrades to truck. Flat percentage increases are dull and I expected better
* Can I sleep in the bed in my truck? Idk I just thought it'd add immersion
* Can I drink my beer? First thing I did was buy a beer case and sit down to get ready for some long-haul trucking...but I think it's just a trade item to buy and sell somewhere else because you can't interact with it at all.

I think there's a lot of potential here, but it doesn't feel like a full release...yet? I hope they continue to work on it, I'd love more depth, more immersion, more flavor, more features. The maintenance, upgrades, and some of the atmosphere just seems so much more shallow than it should/could. There's a lot they got right and I absolutely love the concept and most of the execution, certain things just feel not as deep as I wish they were for 25$. Love the atmosphere, truck, cabin, mechanics, etc. but is it really finished?

I would've paid for this for sure. A word of genius in atmosphere alone. Nothing like it captures that sense of face of gargantuan machines besides maybe the intro for Portal 2 as a niche comparison. The rust vibes and voxel graphics just make an energy that Klubnika absolutely nailed. Broad range of game styles too.
