edit. as of 29 April 2023 RE5 installs on Windows 10, current Nvidia drivers without the slightest fuss. Seems to be working well. trying to get past the monster first stage? thats another story... absolutely epic. give it a try.

I have the original GFWL RE5 and its amazing. I bought this on steam because of the gold edition features. After about 5 months, I ALMOST made it to the 1st stage gameplay without crash. Almost.

If you like spending your evenings trying unsuccessfully to get games to work, rather than actualy playing them, this one guarantees hours upon hours of troublesome troubleshooting and troubling troubles.

maybe one day this game will work. then maybe one day i'll recommend this game. maybe. one day. when custard flavoured flying uni-kitties win the superbowl, while wearing tutu's made out of bacon and leprechaun cheese.

reverted to prehistoric NVIDIA drivers, now it works :D

Awesome game, and the bonus modes, they're better than the main game. It comes with it's bugs sure, but RE5 is worth every bit of aggrevation.
