Between all the frustration of getting killed by bosses and enemies over and over and over and over again, this game is an absolute masterpiece! I am not a patient person when it comes to soulslikes, but seeing that the original Hollow Knight is an absolute favorite of mine, I am glad I persevered through this game.

The many comments about Silksong being too difficult are, in my opinion, an exaggeration. There are plenty of tools and skillset combinations to change up how Hornet plays, and I feel there is a playstyle for everyone to like.

The most important aspect is to have patience. Study boss/enemy patterns. Yes, you will die. A lot, probably. But the story and art and music make up for it by a long shot. Nothing but praise to Team Cherry. An amazing piece of work. Buy this game!

From humble beginnings, where you have to check every parcel that comes into your hands, increasing the difficulty with every license you buy; to a grand warehouse emporium, where you can just sit back, relax, and see all the boxes go through your machines and conveyer belts, watching the money roll in.

Very fun! And doesn't take too long to max everything. Well worth the money!

A fun little incremental time-waster, and I mean that in a good way. Kill enemies, get money, kill more enemies with bigger bombs. What more do you want?
Great polish, fun pixel art. It is a little harder to distinguish the enemies from the environment in the later levels, but at that point you have enough ammo to carpet bomb the entire field.

A fun action/adventure dungeon crawler, with a fun story to boot! Immediately started a new game+ to get 100% of the achievements, which wasn't the most difficult to do. So if you're into achievement hunting and fully completing games, this is a great fit! Wonderful art style and music as well!

A fun little escape room type game. Not too difficult, maybe a little short. Had fun, nonetheless!

A cute little Zelda-style game, where you play as a fox, trying to figure out what you are doing in a strange world. Solve puzzles, fight enemies, upgrade your skills, all while collecting manual pages for the actual game you are playing. The manual is an interesting mechanic, and very important to the game itself. Explaining more than that will be too spoilery, so I just wholeheartedly recommend playing this game for yourself, and be as amazed as I was.

I'm not a huge fan of twin stick shooters or bullet hells, but this game combines it with a Zelda-style metroidvania, which are my favorite genres.
I was pleasantly surprised with how smoothly it plays, seamlessly transitioning between indoors and outdoors on a fairly big map with lots to explore. I played it twice to completion, once on the regular difficulty and then again on hard, to get that nice full achievement list.
While it isn't a big game in terms of play time, I still fully enjoyed the experience (twice!).

A beautifully crafted, semi-abstract looking, pocket-dimensional puzzle game. Short, but no less enjoyable to say the least! It can really mess with your head sometimes, in both solving the puzzles, and with how the environment looks.
It has a healthy mix of puzzles, environmental storytelling, and even some boss 'battles' (Although there isn't really a way to lose in this game; the bosses themselves are essentially big, multi-layered puzzles).
Definitely worthy of its Game Award win this year!

Wow. Just wow. Amazing game. If you like made up languages, and trying to figure them out through context clues, this is the game for you! A beautiful meta-plot as well, tying things together wonderfully in the end.

The only 'problem' I have is you can easily guess validating the glyphs in your journal, if you're a little impatient like me. But you can just as easy not do that.
