So, where do I begin? My buddy bought me this game since I'm a NodeJS fanboy and LEMME TELL U SUMTHIN. I thought I knew JS until I rewrote my code for this game 7 time. Remade it in Typescript and created an automated base builder, layout manager and have automated most things up to RC5. This game has really sharpened my JS/Typescript and I can say I would gladly pay for this game if it hadn't been gifted to me. Allot of people complain about the subscription (which is optional). No it wont make you better. No it wont give you an edge. It'll just let you write sloppier code and not have to optimize which is the fun of this game IMO. Plenty of private servers and if the slow pace isnt your speed you can host your own server and add mods, bots etc. 10/10 game.
