If there was a game where every time it was restarted, you forgot the whole game, I wish it would be this one for me, personally. This game was an amazing experience from beginning to end. I kept wanting to see what would happen next, and this game actually made me feel genuine emotion at times. The characters mesh so well together, their little nuances and the actions they do in the background of cut scenes make the feel connected and alive. The soundtrack to this game is, honestly, one of the best I have ever heard. I would put the controller down at some points and just take in the sounds of the music playing, since each one feels like its made with different, deeper emotions in mind. The combat of this game is a blast as well. Reminding me a bit of old Paper Mario with the dodge/parry mechanic, combined with FFX turn system. The builds you can create in this game vary widely with all the Pictos (Think of these as perks you can add to characters) in the game, and each character can have their own overpowered build when built correctly. The playable characters, without spoiling anything, each feel unique with their own kind of play styles. If this is your first foray into a RPG, you could not have picked a better one to start with.
