Multiplayer is full of bots and it really draws down on the gameplay.

Insane. Very true to Half-Life. Difficulty-wise, I have only played through once on Hard, which was pretty dang hard, but there are other difficulty levels, including "Story", which I assume means one shot kills pretty much anything.

There are moments of wonder, including the very beginning, mind-bendingness, like the mindF at the end, and (at least on hard) very tactical and difficult gunfights.

Very, very few bugs, which is a rarity in current times, even with large game releases. It also runs extremely well. My PC is OK at best, and there were a very small amount of frame drops.

For a review of the game (the mechanism) - extremely reliable and much better than any other big release I've played in quite some time.
For a review of the gameplay - the story is beautiful, the "ground-up for VR" build is extremely evident and executed flawlessly. I know that some people say that VR isn't the future and it just isn't catching on, but if they played this, as well as anyone else who could, they would be shown that they were dead wrong. There is no comparison to this game.

At the time of this writing, I have nearly 500 hours, over the past year. It has some amazing aspects. The idea of creating your own ship, tiny, or massive, fast, or slow, and barreling through a multiplayer space, just looking for a fight or for a trade partner...... it's fantastic. But here's the problem.....

This game sucks. The devs can't fix the awful engine they've created. With every update, more stuff is broken. Though singleplayer is decently stable, multiplayer is absolute trash. I'd go into more detail, but my stomach churns just thinking about it. All it comes down to is I would lnot reccommend this game to anyone. Sure, you'll have fun when you first get it. After a few hundred hours, you'll hate every second of it.

The graphics are better than I expected. Good game! It's fun and pretty innovative. Obviously it's in Beta, so it isn't perfect. But so far, the dev's are doing a great job!
