I hope you like adult game ads that take up most of the screen, because that's (un)fortunately what you get when you first launch into the Megapicker. This launcher sadly doesn't really do anything that the current third-party solutions do aside from being less sortable, non-reskinnable, and technically "official." Oh, and there's the big, sexy advertisement, of course. So maybe give Jack's Trunk or Jackbox Utility a try.

I favorited all the main games we play, so they pop to the top of the Library list, but everything is still displayed in reverse order of release (newest at the top, oldest at the bottom). Filters are absolutely useful and important to have, but more granular sorting would be nice. I do sort my physical board game shelf, after all, and not simply in the order I bought my games.

Functionally speaking, the Megapicker works as expected... when you pick a game, that game's pack is launched and boots straight to the game in question, and when you exit that game, the pack closes completely and the Megapicker returns to the foreground.

Ideally, we'll move to a place where it's just one modular application that reads your licenses/installs and flags things as Available or Purchasable accordingly. I definitely think selling an annual(ish) license pack is still a good way to go, but making each item an individual DLC option could also be great for some users.
