its a quick fun game to give you spooks. the addition of actual danger has made the game way creepier. I love forcing my friends to play this >:)

The Dishonored series is one of my personal favorites and Dishonored 2 is my personal favorite out of the three. All the utility you have at your disposal with this game gives you so many options on how to play. I love to stealth in games and the level design in this game really compliments the stealth as well as all the abilities and options given to the player to approach each encounter their own way allowing for more creativity. The quick and loud style of play feels really fun and rewarding thanks to the different kill animations which makes the combat flow really well and your arsenal of powers and weaponry assures that the combat doesn't feel repetitive. This game rewards the player for exploring with all the runes and bone charms to find, hidden safe combinations, black markets and side objectives. I also want to add sound design is phenomenal and the atmosphere dishonored games have has always been eerie and bleak but with it's moments of pure beauty. I spoke briefly about the level design earlier but I want to emphasize that the level design in this game is absolutely phenomenal. The hidden rooms, the changing walls in the clock tower, the time travel mechanic in Stilton's manor, the secrets and environmental story telling, all of these things add for amazing environments to explore and be in. There's a chaos system in this game just like the first one (if you don't know, it means the more you kill and the more bad actions you do the higher the chaos leading to the bad ending for the game) and I've never been a huge fan of it but I completely understand why it exist and I think it makes sense to exist. This game is also very replayable so you can get all the endings, play as the other character with different abilities, replay the missions out differently or just approach things from a different angle. Overall I think this game is worth a buy and I recommend playing the first game first although not required it has it's own charm and it'll help you understand the world and characters more.

A beautiful continuation of the previous games with new refreshing open world levels and more of what I loved with the previous games. The graphics are beautiful and the variety in the different areas makes the game look fresh every level. My favorite parts were the moments on the train when you just relax and hear what's on everyone's mind which adds a lot of depth to the story in my opinion. My first play through I played on Hard difficulty and the combat was fun and didn't seem unfair or broken. Finding all the upgrades for Artyom gave meaning to exploration and the different weapon mods gave more variety for combat. I definitely recommend this game for those who enjoyed the previous entries and for people new to the franchise I recommend playing the previous games first so the story will make more sense (and the previous games are amazing in there own right).
