not a strong a story as Shadow Warrior (2013) but definitly improved game play, just don't play it until you've experienced the first one's story

definitely worth the playtime. only worth doing again in NG+ for achievement hunting. over the top humor, over the top difficulty in places. but no situation is a "no win" situation, so never say "I can't do it", and never give up.

it's Doom 3, only shorter. Not a great doom game, but a pretty good zombie and demon fragging game.

At it's core, Doom 3 is a good game, it was quite the marvel in 2004 and it hasn't aged very badly at all. Is it a good Doom game? No, not really. Is it a good atmospheric shooter game? absolutely. So, if you're looking to recapture those 90s feelz, this ain't for you. But if you're just looking for a fun game over all where you frag zombies and demons, this game certainly fits the bill. it's good for about 10 hours of entertainment, and mods make it better.

just played ch1, the art style is unlike anything I've seen before and very well done. the puzzle solving was not too easy, and not too difficult. the horror is played down for most of the chapter. looking forward to eventually playing the remaining chapters, ch1 was quite good at making me wanna play the others.

was fun for about 7 hours, then you get the bad ending. oh you don't want the bad ending? too bad! this game puts you and your ryders in a no win situation against a combined force of pirate fleet and pact fleet, they all debuff you to hell, they all destroy you from long range with missles, there are so many enemy units that by the time each one fires its missiles you are dead, either they concentrate on the sunrider and it goes boom before its next turn, or they concentrate on your weakest ryders and pick them off one by one. and you think you can just keep the liberty at arms length to repair the sunrider after each endless missile barage? nope! cause after just a few turns the liberty can't repair anymore, nobody can use their mid to high energy skills anymore. they never run out of missiles and you just can't win, it's just a matter of how long you wanna take to lose. btw, this review was on VN difficulty where the story takes the main stage and battles are "just a formality" yeah right! what a f*cking joke!

if you use linux like me, the diamond edition on gog.com will work, but it can be a difficult process getting it set up the first time. this would be a better option for you. it just works, it just installs and it just works. and the steam workshop makes modding stupid easy.
