Not a bad game but gets dull fast, There is basically no consequences for being rubbish at the game. other than you lose a few years where you can't develop anime and have to wait for subcontracting work to come in to dig yourself out the hole.

Controls are a bit clunky but managable.
there's no real story to drive the game
every release has the exact same dialogue just a few keywords changed to match the settings you picked.

Things that could make this game worth investing time in:
1. Consequences for going into the red.
2. Event driven story
3. Adding a mechanic to run an anime series for more than one season
4. Better starting tutorial for the game (pretty much left to fend for yourself after reading the tutorial other than hire staff to start)

Good game for the year it was released nice story decent animation works best with a controller as is an xbox port well worth giving a shot

Simple yet difficult, not bad to kill some time.
