Fun quick game for a bit, a few gripes I had with the gameplay though:
-Some of the puzzles have very specific angles that you need to use, which would be fine if I could easily fine tune the angle I wanted. It was pretty annoying trying to get the perfect mouse position for 180 degrees on some of the puzzles, and if there were something like pressing shift to increment by 5s or to change the mouse sensitivity temporarily, that would be amazing.
-The puzzles with moving parts were probably the least fun mechanic added, it was fine with the moving squares at first, but the spinning hexagons were really annoying, as if they weren't timed perfectly, the balls could fly off in directions which weren't anticipated. It kind of felt pretty gimmicky and wasn't really fun, as I had essentially 'solved' the puzzle, but I had to retry it multiple times and line up the angles just to attempt it again.
-Hitting the corners is never planned, and pretty much always results in an instant loss, which is annoying given how small the sides on the hexagons are to hit. It would be great if the corners just bounced as if it had it the closest side, or even if the hexagons were just bigger.
-There's just a dead zone at the top of the screen, which is annoying trying to set up a shot near the top. Maybe narrow it to just the menu section?
-Keybinds would be nice, like R to restart quicker

Overall, not really anything too great, it's only a dollar though so I can't complain too much and has potential, but some design choices were a little questionable.

I love the style and general feeling of the game, and I had been craving a music game lately, but there are a few issues that I thought made the game really un-fun, and made the experience not as fun as I'd hoped. These are big red flags I think need to be smoothed out, if I were to want to get the whole game.
  • When holding onto long notes, it's pretty annoying that the next long note won't appear until after the current one is finished. I see why it happens, as it would be weird to have a note show up mid-way through the note you're holding, but especially on I think the last song with the stone piano guy? you only have a single beat to see and press the new chord.
  • Sometimes when switching octaves, it's hard to immediately see which notes you're supposed to be hitting. I think it would be a huge QoL if the notes faded slowly into view instead, as I kind of have to re-focus my eyes on which notes I'm supposed to hit. This might just be me sucking, but I think it would greatly help, and I think would also solve the issue above if you did it the same way.
  • The part where the robot harasses you for trying to move the menu with the arrow keys... that's just not fun IMO, I get the novelty of it, but it happens a lot and gets old, especially when I'm using the arrow keys for Edwin and the WASD in the menu.
  • I think the guitar sections need some kind of line to know where the beat is. I guess it helps a little that the notes are shaped to tell you how long they are... but it's hard to read the rhythm sometimes. I think you could definitely use the 8th note flags to denote if they're off-beat or some other visual cue, but you would need to make them a bit more visible.
Overall, I love how unique it is and that it's a rhythm game, but I can't recommend it right now, as the gameplay is kind of suffering a bit and doesn't feel that clean. I know it's a "sneak peak" of something that's a WIP, but these are things that should be caught early in testing.
