So far its scratching the survival crafting and black flag itch. Shanties and exploring what appears to be a huge map. Camps have chests with unique items.

Honestly if you're a fan of the Survival crafting genre, then this game is a blast. All of the negative reviews in my opinion tend to be from people that don't like the genre. It's a promising game and I love the direct feedback system. The devs seem responsive to suggestions.
