Fantastic puzzle game. Interesting, weird, and delightfully touching.

An optimization/puzzle game wrapped so beautifully, you might think it's a 4x-space strategy game. Initially overwhelming, with time it becomes a great "pick-up and play a little" game, but it's all a big trap that will consume hours of your time as you try to get just one more star. When it starts to click and the cascade of success hits just right, then you run out of time in a play through, it will take all of your resolve to not jump right back in with all that you've learned to have another go.

If you're a Dark Souls fan who hasn't played it in a few years, but suddenly have a hankers to venture into Lordran again, do yourself a favor and get this, the remastered version, of the game. It's worth it!

Completely unique from all other games I've played. Everything seems to work incredibly well and is polished. Can't wait to see the final version of this game, but even if nothing changes, I can highly recommend this game.

Wonderful game. Smooth and responsive controls make the combat enjoyable. So many possibilities for how you can play. Nuggets of lore keep it interesting. I've played for hours and still feel like I'm missing so much of the lore/tech/world. Highly recommended.

Amazing art direction, tight controls, and an interesting story. Combined with the skill tree and choices that you make, this is a great game!

Amazing DLC. A wonderfully hard addition to the game. The developers have already addressed 90% of the issues that other people have complained about. This expansion really breathes some new life into the game and has kept me coming back for a good number of hours.

An amazing game. Dripping with atmosphere and dread. Daring actions will be rewarded occasionally, but more often you'll be crushed and sent running. The grind to get full upgrades and such can be tedious, but Radiant mode was introduced which really helps with most of the grind and frustration.

People complaining about the DLC confuse me. So much was added to the base game for free between it's initial release and it's first DLC launch that it made the initial purchase 100% worthwhile. The DLC adds a lot of content for only $10. So good and a great way to extend the value even more.

A gory delight of "classic" FPS gaming. I took it in short bursts and enjoyed every second of it. Haven't touched the multiplayer, but the entire singleplayer campaign was action-packed with just enough superficial story telling to tie it all together.

Highly recommended.

Amazingly fun and VERY difficult. Great controls with lots of nuanced differences between the weapons and enemies keeps me coming back game after game. I'll take a break, but then 10 minutes later find myself loading it up again. Lots of great little features complete the package and add to a high replayability.
