On a serious note, This is shaping up to be a great game! I have had a lot of weird overlap with the loading times, not sure if this is due to the game being installed on an SSD. No performance issues here other than that! Enjoying the parallel story to P5 and curious to see where it leads next!

I got all my achievements through my PS5 save that I spent 50 hours on and started a NG+ on steam. Here's what I love and don't love about the game.

Love:
The environment. Baghdad looks absolutely stunning, especially playing on Ultra. The colors are vibrant, water is beautiful, and the streets are packed.

The beginning of the game: The story starts out strong. It has a mysterious start, from Basim wanting to be a Hidden One to make real change for the street thieves/children of Anbar and plot twist that involves the order of the ancients happens, Basim is thrust into being a Hidden One.

Learning about Hidden One Lore: Learning about how Origins formation of the Hidden Ones and how it progressed into the Brotherhood was interesting. There are also many Origins references that were interesting and very welcome.

After this, there is nothing to the game. The intro cutscene makes you think that something is coming. something big. But nothing comes and you are left with disappointment. The combat feels like clunky 2000s combat with ♥♥♥♥♥♥ hitboxes and parry hit parry hit repeat, etc. The story with Basim and Nehal feels forced and strange, especially since We find out she is actually Loki's conscious manifestation and the game just feels like it was made to fill a time gap until Shadows (dont even get me started on Shadows) There are bugs as expected from Ubisoft but I didnt actually encounter any game breaking ones unlike on PS5.

All in all, the game really should have been a DLC for Vahalla, since we got introduced to Basim in Vahalla. Unfortunately, we got a roller coaster ride that you get on excited, and a quarter way through the ride you get bored and question your choice to even get on the ride.

Lighthearted game full of wholesomeness but has some morbid/spooky elements to it. One of my all time favorite games and is truly deserving of the labor of love. 8 years of free updates can't be beat! Can't wait to purchase haunted chocolatier when it is released!

Young man, if you would like to play this game with uncapped fps and wonderful QOL updates, take my hand.

I've been having these weird thoughts lately, like is any of this for real or not? Welcome to Steam, Kingdom Hearts. May all the prospective players enjoy their first time with this long lasting series. Gameplay wise, its the same formula that we all know and love. Yes the bugs transferred over from the EGS version and it is capped at 60 but I have not experienced any crashes. I have experienced moderate frame drops both in gameplay and theater but they are minor 5-10 fps drops. Mods are still possible with this version just like the EGS version.

You can't cut back on funding, you will regret this! Thank you for shadow dropping this wonderful gem! Please put Sim City 2000 on steam too, or you will regret this! :)
