Played for about two hours, my first run was with a bow and focused on passive skills only which made me feel very powerful.

Game is cool and fun, build craft seems good and interesting with lots of depth.

My only issue is the meta progression. The progression is based around upgrading skills so that future characters are more powerful. The issue with this is that it inhibits experimenting and trying out new builds by nature of existing, as if I've invested my meta currency into upgrading skills around bow and attack skills, why would I ever try out a spell caster and be weaker?

I'm not sure how you could even fix such a thing without a full overhaul of the meta progression but the upgrades, combined with the ability to get more rerolls via meta progression very heavily leans you toward choosing a build and staying with it rather than trying out all the cool and fun skills the game has to offer.

What if Noita and Binding of Isaac had a self-aware and very fun baby? You get Magicraft.

Absolutely excellent game. Fun, cheap and a total blast with friends. Pick this one up, you won't be disappointed!

No worthwhile content to be found here. If your game has anything in addition to the first handful of upgrades then you should indicate that somewhere ingame.

There truly is no other game like Noita.

Is it easy? No.
Is it fair? Also no.

Do I love every single moment? Absolutely yes.

edit: multiplayer good, great game with approachable yet deep mechanics. Big recommend.

I've honestly not playing a metroivania-esque game this good in literally years. Everyone should play this game. Try the demo if you don't believe me.
