What is this disgusting piece of game? What has Monster Hunter become? They neglected everything for this Devil May Cry gameplay while the monsters have not been improved. Weirdly enough if you played Frontier the idea behind powercreep was so you can even have interactive gameplay at that point. Or 4U which had with the runic exploration probably the hardest gameplay considering the Moveset. I hate how normies just ruin everything since the MBA suits will look at the market research chart and completely neglect an entire genre. Monster Hunter was always a strategic timing action game disguised as a button masher. Now we have to be fair world was where this trend started and they got away with it because of the massive IP and fanbase but the slob is just terrible. Even if the muddy graphics were fixed the game would not have many players. Monster Hunter had always terrible pacing after MHFU and Tri (Yes the Wii version 3U was literally content bloat without meaning) since they never made the skill system (When it was good) engaging like they did in the ♥♥♥♥♥♥ pay to win Frontier game. The core gameloop is completely broken to appease to normies, this game is just a bossrush simulator but the bosses can't even kill you unless you try to die. It used to be that you can't just have no armor and the first thing you die to is this high rank lightning dragon because he actually oneshots you. The ai got toned down, they literally made the monsters a lot smaller, the movement easier than ever, Literally COUNTER WITH 0 WINDUP HELLO WHY IS LANCE A THING THIS ♥♥♥♥ CAM IN FRONTIER IN ZENITH TIER BECAUSE IT WAS ONLY JUSTIFYABLE BECAUSE IT MAKES THE GAME TO EASY OTHERWISE IF THE MONSTER DOESN'T LITERALLY ONESHOT YOU IN ONE HIT. Or then the countless other problems like Armor is free, upgrades never did something weird that they made it in Frontier matter how it should be instead of +2 armor like how lazy do you have to be. The "good" decorations are only on weapon to force you using the trashy ones. You know how they could have fixed it? MAYBE DON'T MAKE A SKILL SYSTEM THIS STREAMLINED. It's so bad, so terrible in every aspect, and then they have to balance the game around the full damage build because why need evade +2 or other skills when you have a 0,2 counter or just evade+2 moves in your kit now. I like how people are like "Monster Hunter never got easier, you just got better" and these are the same people who never played 4U protable 3rd as if this is some kind of that they died in world to while moving/healing. Now you have a literal horse that is a get our of jail freecard on top. The best part about the game is how the end game was so uninspired they literally were like just like in world "What if you farmed for talismans since this game has nothing to offer since we removed armor building, weapon variety since they are all the same" OH WAIT EVEN THAT GOT REMOVED SO THERE IS LITERALLY NO REASON TO PLAY IT. Seriously how can this game be like "Yeah it's the graphics that destroyed it" THE GAMEPLAY IS ABYSSMAL, YOU PERMA STAGGER MONSTERS I DON'T EVEN SEE PEOPLE USING TRAPS BECAUSE THERE IS NO REASON TO SINCE THE MONSTER IS JUST RAGDOLLING. This is probably the last Monster Hunter game I play. The team sold their IP for 2x normie sale because of the MBA heads truly atrocious
