I was hesitant to move over to 6 from 5. 6 is a vast improvement on the old formula, not quite how 7 destroyed everything. Once you get a handle on the district mechanics it will be a whole lot better, Just with like any new game, gotta get used to the mechanics.

My first playthrough was a bit rough with the messy release, but I still finished it. It was good, not great.

Having played again with the DLC and the work that CD Projekt Red has put in, I can definitively say this is a masterpiece. Anybody who was skeptical because of the poor release should reconsider, as this game has it all. Fun combat that gives you different ways to engage, an immersive and heart pulling story, and a world that feels lived in. Phantom Liberty is a hell of a DLC, and the base game is far superior to the initial release. I dont often write reviews, but this game is worth every penny.
