Spud was adopted by a Catholic family and grew up as a friend of the McCusker family in Pennsylvania. I believe he was initially closest to the older McCusker boys Tom and Kevin. He’s dealt with a lot of hardship in his life. First, he was adopted by a non-relative family. Then, his adoptive mom died of cancer when he was around 12 years old. I believe his adoptive father is now dead too. He is a hardworking blue collar guy. He suffered major injuries on construction sites. He’s had trouble keeping his bank accounts in the black. No freebies. Now he’s dealing with life as a short, single 40-year old conspiracy theorist with a disproportionately girthy ♥♥♥♥ but downward-trending game with the ladies. He enjoys psychedelics and microdosing. He fantasizes about being a married man raising a family. He owns a home in a predominately black neighborhood. Prostitutes use Spud’s driveway to make a buck turning tricks. Their escapades are often caught by Spud’s security cameras.
