This game was enjoyable. You play through the perspective of a detective to determine the order of events which led to the death of a woman named Laura. The puzzles are intriguing, and as you embark through the story each previous puzzle assists you with the next. As a stand-alone puzzle game, it's nice, and i enjoyed playing through them. The ambience of this game is eerie, aiding in learning the depths of the mystery, lots of cryptic themes scattered throughout. Difficulty of the puzzles vary, but aren't too hard or too easy, and at most can be slightly confusing. There's alot of cool symbolism present in the game and lack of narration feels immersive. Each level has you thrown into a new scene which you're expected to solve. The text is be vague, and actually solving the puzzles rely on remembering the the details of the previous ones. You have to connect one piece of information to another, keeping careful track of any and all details. Since the game expects you to remember them all. I had to go back to a few puzzles to find the keys to solving the next one. Taking down notes helped :]

However, the plot is not remotely linear. The game is set within the expansive world of Rusty Lake, in which the lore runs deep. Unfortunately, the collection does not communicate the sequence of events clearly so i have at most a general understanding of what transpired. This is probably intentional, it serves as a good jumping off point to get into the series, and i still have many questions. Every puzzle left me with theories about the next, but my ideas were constantly disproven and just left me with even more questions.. and so on and so forth. For what its worth i do think the game is interesting, and i may play the other ones in the future.

The only complaint i have is that the worldbuilding is far too vast for this to be a starting game . . I was left confounded to alot of plot mentions related to past events and some of the outcomes in the puzzle made me think that i had missed bits and pieces of the story. This isn't ideal for a puzzle/mystery game. Some of the ways in which you have to go about solving them are also pointless sometimes. Which gets frustrating because of the amount of things you DO have to recall. Some things matter, others don't. I had to do a bit of research to fill in the lore gaps and properly understand what was really going on, which i would've preferred not to do, since im sure i've spoiled myself for the next few games :(

Overall, solid 6/10.

Nostalgia inducing, makes me miss old internet. Im still invested in evelyn, we need another game

Runs like absolute ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, dont bother with this game. Just play schedule 1, seriously. Fix the bugs.

Big funny

incredibly enjoyable horror co-op game. Im a huge fan of such games and this one is no exception! i love it when my wife accidentally beats our team to death whilst trying to avenge me :3

Surprisingly good. Crude humor, hilarious voice acting, and genuinely one of the funniest VNs i've ever played. The school turns into a white nationalist cult, you get preyed on by faculty (multiple times), send your brother to jail, and lie in court. Overall, 10/10.

Pretty decent game, MC has some questionably cringy humor though. Overall, solid experience.
