One of my favorite games released in recent memory. It has a little bit of everything. Really satisfying tactical combat, super engaging base management, and loads of character customization (both visual and mechanical). It really does a good job of making you feel like wn extremely potent mercenary team running elaborate heists against various factions.

There are a few things I hope this dev team works on, following the apparent success of this title:

-Better visual and audio feedback. This is the main drawback I've found in my time playing... Things just kind of look and sound real janky. Guns have inconsistent firing sounds, and many of them sound really anemic. A lot of animations somewhat detract from the experience as well, namely the lack of death animations (love me some ragdolls, but I can only see the "immediately goes limp and falls to the floor" so many times before I roll my eyes a little. My brain would explode if there were cool combat animations for striking someone with my really cool cyber sword.

-More classes. Oh my gosh, you guys did soooo good on customization. I love every single one of my mercs dearly and I feel like I have like 9 of them who all excel at different things. It's awesome. PLEASE ADD MORE. IT'S ONE OF MY FAVORITE PARTS OF THIS GAME. Give me a cool drone operator. Give me the dog class. Give me some kind of crazy aether magic nano wizard. Give me an unstoppable juggernaut who beats people to death with a bat. Give me someone who throws knives. You have awoken an insatiable need for more character based content.

-More missions with interesting stories, and a greater ability to interact with contacts. It's all such a cool system in theory, but it feels like you're very limited to how you spec your Face. Maybe random interactions between your mercs at base, too. It's *so close* to being insanely cool. Instead, it's only pretty rad.

All in all, they did SO well with this game. It feels like the ONE GAME I've been waiting for my entire life. It's so so good, and I'm so excited to see where it goes.

This is a beautifully made game. The aesthetic and art direction is both what brought me into it and keeps me interested. I'm not really an expert video game nerd or anything, so I think plenty of other threads and reviews provide those kinds of detailed insights better than I will. Instead, here's a simple list of things I liked and disliked:

+Adorable characters and artstyle
+Interesting item combinations
+Really good combat for this genre
+Varied runs, good replayability
+Tons of metaprogression/unlockables
+Mostly interesting variable fight modifiers
+It feels extremely well polished and like a lot of love went into its creation

-Undying. It is literally the worst
-Turn limits/frenzy. It favors high damage team comps over anything
-Not much content besides combat and equipment management. This isn't mucy of a downside for me, because these are my favorite things, but it's something to be aware of.

Super fun! I love any and all ratlike games by default, so my opinion is probably biased.

Great aesthetics, you can tell the developer really loved crafting the visual identity of this game. It borrows a lot of vibes from other games to create something interesting and cool. The story was neat and worked fine, but I felt like it could have leaned even more into the terrifying nature of the setting.

There's a good variety of characters with an appropriate amount of depth to each. However, with how long completing a "run" takes, the combat can sort of become slow and mildly taxing. The enemy variety is not super diverse - every ranged enemy sucks to get hit by, and they all sorta do the same thing but at different ranges. For my first run, it became mostly a game of spamming overwatch until I won, but that may have just been due to the composition of my team.

All that being said, I enjoyed every second I spent playing and hope that this game continues to get occasional love and updates in the future - it's an absolute gem.

Great game with fluffy animals. MTX shop exists. Both currencies are obtainable.

I'm personally not a fan of all the maps; some of them are way too small for 8 players to exist on at one time, and some of them are just tedious to play on a lot of the time (looking at you, Typhoon), but even the funky maps add to the fun silly variety of experiences you will have while "pawing it out" with friends and strangers alike.

Definitely worth the price.

Insanely content-rich game made with immense amounts of love. Adorable and funny. If these guys ever get online working, it'll probably be one of the best games to play with friends

A very good value for 8 dollars. A pretty eh value for 30, unless you're really into medieval slashers. The community is relatively small these days but there's still a lot of really fun times to be had. Explore the modded servers! Even the horde mode can be pretty fun, especially with friends.
