A great variety of gameplay, and loads of replayability. A great rogue-like in its own right, with a very unique setting.
EDIT: There's no change in opinion here after another 120 hours since I wrote my review. This game has so much replayability, and the devs really listen to what the community wants (besides a certain steak maybe...) and the DLC was very much worth the cost. Stellar new OST, items, and mechanics. Top tier game right here.

A great game with good tiered progression, and an amazing ship editor for near complete customization

This game has gone through years of painstaking development, but it has so much to show for it! I've watched it go from a cult fanbase of a few hundred, to a staple of the genre. This game has inspired many fledgling creators, and players, to do so much more with it's varied experience, and it's support of the community, through modding, and continued support.

With the great modding community, and overall pretty good story, this game has hours of replayability. A solid game based on one of the best concepts around, sandbox RPGs.

I was gifted this game by a friend, but it is totally a great buy. Suprisingly in depth, though not exactly a relaxing indie.
