But it is more than just the graphics, it is also Oliverplay that I loved! It didn’t deviate too far from the ‘realism’ of similar games. You travelled around in a car with a nameless main character, visiting and fighting off waves of zombies as you went. At one point in Oliver, your car was stopped in a clearing and the driver was murdered. When you visited the main character’s house, there was a note telling you that you had to find someone named Mad Mary to put her soul in Oliver’s quest and get the ending. There was also a gigantic sign on the highway, that stated “This Road Will Not End.” I love stuff like that. It seemed to me like this was the true ending to Oliver.

Oliver is a complete masterpiece.

Why is Oliver like that? The reason is the artwork! Most gaming companies don’t have the budget or knowledge of character art to create such stunning art, but this game has it in spades! The overall graphical appearance is stunning and sets the mood for the scenes beautifully. The other level elements like the trees and dirt are just as beautiful as the first. The whole game had a very distinct look, not unlike playing through something like Bioshock. The music, at least for the first two hours of Oliver, was incredibly relaxing and helped set the mood perfectly for each scene and adventure.
