For now I would say that the game is over priced with how cheap it feels at the moment. The devs should have more controls and options out the gate available to the players (gameplay options don't have anything, and you can only change horizontal/vertical sensitivity/inversion), which there are a lot of templates out there that are available for use even with a commercial project.

Simply having a type of game with desirable mechanics that everyone wants is not enough to launch at the price its at right now and just skate by without the repercussions of the ones waiting losing interest.

Work harder, make it better, optimize, and maybe I'll come back and enjoy your game... and if not? Well, less competition for me later on :)

I can't really find any faults with the game yet. I've only been playing the solo/co-op mode so far and there's still so much for me to unlock and explore.

If you've played EldenRing and enjoy the pace due to the difficulty, I recommend starting the game with the legendary difficulty.

The game feels like its a mobile racing game, like this "CarX Technology physics" that the game has is just a title to sell more of whats a dirt cheap product that's shotgunned into the masses.... mobile game feel to it, no real physics, and no innovation that brings anything new to the gaming scene

Its as the kids would say... "♥♥♥♥♥ Bussin!"

But for real, this game is absolutely phenomenal. The controls are responsive and are intuitive, the learning curve is good enough for an idiot sandwich like me to get into it within just 20 minutes of practice. Performance is excellent (I mean I have a maxed out laptop but still), graphics look good, and there's plenty of challenge and unlocks to keep you busy for tens of hours if not longer.

The only thing that I could ask of is coop functionality, I know that people will say that multiplayer pvp would be better to add but I think it would be easier to implement non pvp coop action since there would be less people to complain about issues with desync.

I'm sorry but I cant really recommend this game. Overall the flow and feel of the game is just cheap, which makes sense for the price on the store.

I don't see the game going very far in terms of development with the core systems in place unless the whole thing is remade, though if the game was remade later on to introduce more realism or complex systems then I might be able to recommend this title.

Everything in the game I came across felt cheap. The melee combat, the stealth, the hostile NPCs reactions, the modeling of the speech for those you talk to, and the crafting makes me feel like I went back a decade.

I will say that the fact that you have to actually discover information and you being able to make it so that you have no help in guidance other than exploring (a rather nice environment) is really nice, but that doesn't excuse how old and restrictive all the other systems within this game are.

Maybe I'll buy this game again in a year or two assuming things are improved, but I don't want to pay $50 for a map.

The gameplay is fantastic, the combat is engaging and the survival elements are well balanced.

I will say that the game does need a couple QOL changes to make it feel better but its primarily UI related stuff.

Its just another game that was thrown together to generate money for the developer, there was obviously no effort to make any improvements from other similar games that are essentially the same, and actually Stolen City has much less features from those other game counterparts.

A few things that other games that came before this or even after and issues I've encountered:
-Doesn't have stealth, so no, there is no crouching.
-Climbing ladders and interacting with doors is not a thing, which is a basic thing to add.
-Hitting ANYTHING produces a hit marker, indicating that its destructible, although it does not seem to be the case, since hitting a bush with my stone axe for 2 minutes did nothing but piss me off for wasting time.
-Any combat within a large radius of the zombie things or whatever they are (apparently use weapons) immediately aggro even if they weren't seen.

I'm sure I would find more things to complain about if I played longer, but as I said just above, this game is a cash farm, like many mobile games that are made to be almost exactly the same but get jam packed with ads, this game is a copy of others, and a rather poor copy at that. Its because of games like this that the market is in such a poor state, filled with so many games that are either never brought to full realization or is just empty so you can make a quick buck on everyone, what happened to the desire people had to make something better than those before us?

You get stuck on the tutorial island after the first race and have to contact support and wait for them to reset your progress apparently, now I'm imagining pouring hours upon hours into the game only to lose it that the server maintenance doesnt fix.

Maybe this will get fixed or changed later on, but until it does I cant recommend the game.

I wouldn't recommend buying this game yet, the UI is absolutely bugged, meaning I cant look at the controls without the controls screen being posted over every UI element forever.

The game is tied to controller as though its made for a console exclusively, while you can use keyboard and mouse it just doesn't work as well.

There isn't any optimization for the graphics, there isn't any reason a Ryzen 9 7945HX3D CPU and a RTX 4090 GPU cant push this game past 40 fps on low settings.
