Well done Insomniac, you made a great game but forgot the personality.. Music? Boring, Story: Quite frankly ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, Characters? I wanted them to stop talking so I could just get on with it, why? because the gameplay and visuals are bloody fantastic. Shame everything else about this game fell short. I understand this is aimed at kids right? But where's the on the nose humour, the snarky comments, the edge?

Lost to time I expect.

I wanted to like this game, I love ratchet and clank. But between this and the movie tie in abomination, it's over ladies and gents. Just go play the original trilogy to get your RaC fix.

I have yet to finish this game, but I have enjoyed every second of it thus far.
If we were to strip away how amazing this game is, it still has to win GOTY simply out of respect for the craft, and how much love was put in from a comparatively small studio, you can tell that everyone that had anything to do with this game had a blast while working on it, from the devs, artists, the voice talent and the score and anyone inbetween.

To preface this, I will not have as much insight into the game itself as the other reviews for this game as I have not finished it nor do I have the amount of hours in it (but if you want my opinion on that, the game is fantastic, if you have any interest at all then you will find at least something to love about this game). However what I wanted to mention how much this game should mean to everyone who plays video games, not because it's a game that everyone will enjoy, but from an industry perspective it shows how a game can respect you as a consumer. Over my ownership of this game, the game has received multiple updates in the form of content updates like the sub classes, and out of the box modding support (I have not played with any of the mods yet but it's nice to see a company add this kind of support). None of which I had to part with any more money for. This game was made with a massive amount of respect for the player and it shows in how it's conducted itself, and how the EOL phase of the game went where Larian essentially said: "We are going to do other things, make BG3 yours."

I don't see another game reaching the sheer scale of BG3 again, and that's okay, but I would love to urge the rest of the industry to at least take a leaf out Larian's book on how to treat your player-base, and if possible when you as a company are finished with your game... Give it to your players, let them carry the torch and continue.

Great idea trapped in bland execution.

I can only stomach one or two matches in this game, either I get my ass handed to me by someone who's played since beta, or I'm on the other side and beating down some poor player who just bought the game and has next to no cards.

The game quickly stops being about the gun play and very quickly about how much time you're willing to slog through matches to get card packs so you can just spam them until your opponent can do next to nothing.

The voice talent all seem to be recorded on different mics so it just sounds jarring.

The "hub" is next to useless, when I can just access a menu to do everything I need to, there is nothing to do outside of running to get into another menu.

I want to like this game, but things are just getting in the way. I understand it's still early days and to my knowledge it's a very small team. I'd love for this game to become what it wants to be, but it's just not there yet.
