One time, using a d4 and a jar of piss I was able to trigger a double jack pot. The game calls this a "super jack pot." I scored over 690,000,000 points, the slot machine looked like it was going to explode, and it had an aura of my soul being sucked into it.
10/10 GOTY

Game director Chris Wilson once said that if you can make it to mapping, this game owns your soul. I would argue that if you can make it to red maps, it's more correct. You'll have a greater understanding of what maps, bosses, content, etc you do and don't like.
There's so many different ways to play this game. Between the insane build variety and the amount of mechanics, you could very easily play this game for tens of thousands of hours.
Very easily one of my top 5 games

Frost Punk 2 stands out as an interesting sequel, as it plays very differently from Frost Punk 1. However, having completed the main story I think that it stands as a worth successor. Rather than battling the cold, you'll more often find yourself trying to satisfy the political needs of different factions. While this is a different approach, I still find it quite interesting and enjoyable. Additionally, the environment itself can still give you quite the challenge to fight against.
The main campaign will have you face off against a whiteout of -100C, lasting an entire year. But I found my biggest challenge at the end of the campaign; riots were breaking out, factions were at war, districts were being pillaged. I was barely able to keep things together. And when I did succeed, the credit scene guilted me into going back and trying for the true ending.
I can't help but say that I want more. If you've played FP1 or not, I would definitely recommend FP2.
Also if the devs could add an "upgrade to deluxe edition" or "season pass" dlc to the store, it would be pretty awesome.

I 100% the game in one sitting. My only two issues might be that hidden cats sometimes feel like there isn't an indication as to what to interact with, leading to random clicking or waiting for a hint. Also the metal detector feels like it has a very small range.
This was my first DevCats game and I already feel like buying another. Plus, your purchase supports stray cats world wide. Extremely worth the purchase

A large part of my enjoyment from House Flipper 1 was installing and assembling different house fixtures. This is largely reduced in House Flipper 2, as it is only within story mode in the "Assembly" tab. You do these assemblies once, earn a 2% discount on that item type, then never again. Assembling objects is no longer part of the normal gameplay loop.
Some people will absolutely love that change. I personally don't.
Otherwise House Flipper 2 is a great iteration which builds upon House Flipper 1. If you were previously indifferent or didn't like assembling objects, I would recommend 2.

This game is just the definition of mid. There's lots of decent ideas at work, but none of them are executed in a way that really stand out, or that are really memorable.
This isn't a very good chill game because some of the puzzles are too frustrating to be relaxing, and it's not a very good puzzle game because several puzzles are repeated with very little variation or new mechanics going on.
Should you get it? Maybe? Probably at 50-75% off. I would compare this game to trying to complete a jigsaw puzzle without knowing what the picture of the puzzle ever is. For some people that sounds fun, for others that sounds like a horrible time

If you have a passing interest, you should buy this game. It is worth it at full price
I got into the game very early. When I saw my super outdated map replays in the credits, and they slowly progressed with each major update it was very emotional in a way. I've seen the game grow and change. I've seen how much the devs love their game.

Early Access Review
My first run was so powerful I killed myself out of self-damage on the first turn of the final boss. I didn't kill the final boss. I think I love this game
