As a fan of TXR 3 and Zero on PS2, I am thrilled to see this franchise making a comeback on PC! The nostalgia feels aren't rose colored glasses today, this game definitely feels like a sequel worthy of the franchise. The racing, the cars, the upgrades, even the newer features like the skill trees all feel like they belong in the games I played on PS2 all those years ago. The jank is there as well, of course.

Certain rivals are very difficult to beat, even with endgame equipment. Hoping that they run into traffic or a barrier has returned as a race strategy! It's easier to identify the Wanderer requirements than before, a very nice quality of life change.

I put all of my hours on the Steam Deck (OG) and it ran flawlessly. I am excited to see what changed when it officially launches later this month.

Constant updates show significant evolution in this game with seemingly endless possibilities. However, with no real direction at the moment, it's easy to get bored. It's nice to see that the developers are making good progress.
