With the recent rework of the addons at least it numbs the pain but yeah map knowledge really just helps with judging when to use your power. Also playing more survivor helped me in turn to keep an eye out for animations they're definitely locked into for when I use my M2

But that's the reality of PH a lot of times it's better to use M1, missing in main building is especially punishing or rewarding, he's more high risk high reward with his power and how slow he is as well. That's why I use a undetectable terror radius build on him to at least get a free hit and mostly to spook people.

Yeah no I dont have problems with aim or mindgames, but mostly just committment. I feel like 90% its on average smarter to just go for the m1 then to try and hit the ability cuz itll take longer. thats why im doing m2 matches only. I just feel like a lot of the time im better of going fo the fake and then m1 instead to use the ability, when VERY HYPOTHETiCALLY its HYPOTHETICALLY always smarter to use your ability. Its theoretically a radius around you where you can instantly hit someone IF you are the best pyramid head to exist.

Most of my advice really amounts to learning the tiles on each map and how strong they are for survivor since you can still mindgame loops by holding your power and forcing them to make a mistake like making them avoid dropping a pallate while aiming your ability and going in for the basic m1 once you get close enough, the moment they vault let your ability out and get comfortable with missing your power, it's easy to feel discouraged when it happens but it will a lot. I usually play him for fun as well and prefer to run a no terror radius build since catching people off guard is fun and handy in a lot of situations.
