a list of my fav quotes from this game:

Leon: “I don’t have time for pest control.” SHUT UR ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ MOUTH LEON
Leon: "I think I want a second opinion!" Leon says after waiting 10 seconds to shoot a zombie and save a random lady.
Victor: "Instead, Spencer gave us ANARACHAAAAAYYYYYYYY..." Brush ur teeth bro
Leon: “I remember you…I remember that, too.” Mr. X even shakin' his head at that one
Victor: "Umbreller's curse.."
Leon: "Sorry, I'm not on the menu."
Victor: "I did it... I DID IT...... AHHAHAHAHAHAHHA-" *locks in and walks out of the room immediately*

but fr this game is like a 9/10 RE game so fun and i loved it!

RE4 is my favorite RE game because it has great gameplay and very memorable moments.

the first thing i wanna talk about is the gameplay. combat is very fluid and feels like i have good control of the character compared to many other titles. the movement blended with the level design creates a really engaging and fun level to fight in and explore. i love how this game isn't super linear and lets you do a lot of exploring, especially in the first third of the game. the inventory management is literally peak as well. its my favorite inventory management system out of all the resident evil games. it really lets you sort things how you want, and make as much space to cram the case full of as much as possible. it just feels very fun and easy to use.

idc what anyone says i think ALMOST every gun in the game is good to use and feels like a great choice. especially with how you can upgrade them. knives are pretty good and can save you a lot of the time from enemy grabs, i love how it works compared to RE3make. i love the combat system!

enemies all feel great to fight, and feel like they're fairly placed (in most sections) my favorite enemy is probably the regenerador. its just such a cool mechanic and a genuinely scary part of the game. i wish they had U-3 (i still need to play seperate way) but its regardless a great range of enemies to fight in this game.

RE4's setting is again one of my favorites in this franchise. i always got a nostalgic feeling, more from the original, but it still is present here in a way. i love running through the autumn-like forests and making my way through the levels. the castle is very vast in this game and features alot of things i liked about the original but amplified. for example, i really liked how they treated the clockwork tower. i think in the original it was a bit too much how the level worked, with the dual elevators. this was more simplified, but still a challenge.

love the music and visuals of this game. they really brought the original game and modernized it and its perfect how the enemies look. they still have the same vibe as the original and that goes for other aspects such as the levels, music, atomsphere, sound design. I LOVE THE TRACK THAT PLAYS IN THE VILLAGE AT THE BEGINNING OF THE GAME. it is so good!

some other things i like are the charms and case upgrades (size and materials) they will give you buffs on certain things and i think thats really cool! again, it just adds to how amazing the inventory system is in this game.

anyway this game is a 9/10 for me. its just the most memorable and iconic RE game for me. that opinion may change soon, as i play more of the more lesser known titles, but i think this is my favorite game. i think i even enjoy it more than the original!

it's an ok platformer. i think its fun and i like the teleporting knife mechanic, however theres like a lot i dislike here.

i do like the art but the cyberpunk vibe is way too generic for me. i think most cyberpunk games/movies/media is so blended together in the "bright neon city with japanese lady hologram dancing and big skyscraper and floating cars" and it just screams generic to me. but i do think the art is vibrant, colorful, and fun to look at.

the levels blend together like the art style. it doesnt help that each stage barely introduces anything new. you basically deal with each enemy through every stage. there maybe one or two new mechanics per two stages completed, but it still feels like theres more to be desired. i wish there were more enemy types, puzzle mechanics, etc. the lever one felt kind of cool but could be a bit more polished.

movement is pretty fun but can be janky. if you are going in the opposite direction, if you move your joystick a little too fast sometimes, your character will spin back around and it can get you killed and stuck a lot of the time. i remember get pretty irritated with it. i will say for the most part it feels really smooth and fast paced, but there are some polish issues.

overall its a fine little platformer indie game. i probably wouldnt play it again, but this game regularly goes on sale for pretty cheap. so its worth playing at least once.

i like RE3. its a decent game, and its an OK resident evil game. there are aspects i like, but theres also a ton i do not like here.

to start, i think the gameplay is fun and pretty much the same at the RE2make. feels good to shoot, movement is good, and i like being able to dodge zombies by using the sidestep mechanic. its also cool they gave carlos a shove mechanic, instead of just reusing the sidestep one that jill has. i wish they kept the one mechanic in the RE2make where if you have a knife/grenade, you can stab it in the zombies mouth and get away. instead here, you just click when a zombie grabs you and, you sort of still get bit. but for the most part i think its great smooth gameplay and controls.

i enjoy the locations, i like how racoon city has vibrant signs, stores, and it in a way sort is a callback to the 90s. i like that. the sewer section was decent enough for me as well, but the rest of the game i just didn't really enjoy. after the sewer though, im less than impressed. the hospital is alright too though. i just think they're for sure, linear and not very interesting. its like the latter half of RE2make but worse imo.

enemies in this game are kinda subpar, ngl. the ne-a parasite is cool, but i dont really like the other enemies. hunter b is annoying to fight, and just feels like he can dodge my aim at moments no matter what. pale heads are just annoying, wont die unless you hit them hard in the head. hunter y is fine i guess? and those drain deimos things are just not even worth mentioning. everything else seems to be recycled from RE2make. i just find myself going "meh" and actually pretty much forgetting that these things exist.

nemesis as the main antagonist monster in this game is, cool, but kinda of underwhelming in some areas. i absolutely love his design in this game, and he's my favorite RE monster appearance wise. i like dodging his attacks, and i love how he progressively gets more weapons, and evolutions. i think he looks awesome in his 2nd phase, where he is on 4 legs. however, what i will say is that i think alot of him in this game is just watching a movie. he gets a lot of cutscenes where we just watch him do things. for example, theres a scene where nemesis' tentacle is trying to pull jill, but you just hold W and thats all that happens. i think the quick times in this game are EGREGIOUS and its a lot of that with nemesis.

another huge grip i have with the game is it feels like it is so insanely short. i could beat it in one sitting. its really underwhelming, especially after playing RE2make. i wish it was longer and i wish some of the levels i mentioned previously had more depth.

that being said, its still fun and i believe its worth playing. i love the characters and i still enjoy the story here for the most part. just pick it up if you really want to beat every RE. but honestly, you could just watch a summary of the game on youtube if you REALLY dont want to play it.

2nd fav RE game for sure, its probably the most perfect blend of action and horror in the series, and its a MUST play if you're wanting to get into RE games.

i love the world in this game. the police station is very iconic and is probably the most fluid place to explore in the series! this location is also pretty horrifying, featuring many zombies, lickers, and of course the Mr. X part of the game, which is hands down my favorite monster in the series! after beating the game in 2021, i came back to play it in excitement for RE9 and was just still terrified of Mr. X.

seeing leon so young is funny as hell, but still great to see his first story in the RE universe. claire is also a good character! i like both of them. both of their stories are great and feature different paths. i love the RE characters for how funny and charismatic they can be. i like the story as well here, just being a simple goal of "get out of the city, save this child in the process" its just classic RE and i love it for that.

its a great start if you wanna get into horror games in general tbh, its a great survival action horror, that makes you feel scared a lot of the time, but also pretty powerful if you're paying attention to your resource management and going through engagements smart.

the things i dislike about this game dont really make up much of the game at all. im not a big fan on the boss fights (im really not in most RE games tbf) being that i feel like im just aiming at an eyeball the whole time, or having to just dump all my ammo into a boss. not the hugest fan of that. i also am not a big fan of the underground facility section, it just feels underwhelming and like they could've done more there. what i mean is, i just felt that the west section was really empty and wasnt interesting. the east section was good, and creeped me out, but still felt just a bit off? im not sure.

despite the few flaws this game has for me, its still one of my favorite horror games. give it a play!

overall, 8.5/10 game for me. i love RE2

this is the most fun extraction shooter ive ever played, but i still think it has more potential

this game should add more attachments, and more depth to its weapon system. i think the more loot and upgradability you can add to make your weapons more akin to your playstyle, the more fun it is to actually go out into the world and play.... i think at this point in arc raiders its pretty decent with gun customization but i think they could do so much more. im hoping they'll update some more!

that being said, gameplay itself is pretty fluid and easy to grasp for literally anyone to play. the PvE and PvP really work hand in hand when you're looting and going in for a raid. i think that its really unique and fun to run into players in this game, knowing that you could either backstab them or befriend them. i will say i hate the reddit community that whines about PvP in a PvP game though. BUT, i also understand that people hate it when a loser who does nothing but sit on their ass and play this all day just kills them immediately. its a weird dynamic in the community, but just go in expecting to die to players.

sound design is another thing i wanna point out as being pretty fantastic and immersive. i love the sounds the ARC robots make. really fun to listen to, and absolutely horrifying in certain situations when you hear a bastion detect you.

8/10 game really, i have nothin else really to say other than the hype for this game was pretty well met with the game itself. give it a try, its worth the 40 bucks. and i hope the devs continue to work on the game and polish it and add some more depth to areas that need it.

this game was just, really awesome in MOST aspects for me.

DS2 bosses are just so fun to fight, im NOT sorry. sir alonne, burnt ivory king, looking glass knight, velstadt, etc. ARE ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ AMAZING.

so many awesome armors, weapons, and options to play the game here, just like DS1.

i think there are some really awful levels in this game sure. theres actually quite a few i can think of, but honestly they're not too bad to get through if you just sit there and do it. the worst boss run in lun and zellen by a long shot, but theres still ways to use the mechanics in the game to make it an easier time. use summons to aggro the horses, for example. i dont understand why lots of enemies are shoved into rooms, but its not as bad as like lost izalith, where enemies look ctrl c ctrl v all over the map like a gmod server.

this is really just a 7.5/10 game, its fantastic, but has some flaws. its not a bad souls game at all, and people who say that really just haven't given it a chance in my opinion. theres so much fun to be had here and so much to sink into. the dlcs are awesome, and i think MOST of the bosses are great!

pick it up, and slay some bosses.

this game is just so amazing

its the hardest game ive ever played but it teaches you to be resilient and never give up, wish i played this game when i was younger because it teaches you good lessons.

i dont have so much to say about the game right now, but all i have to say is every gamer needs to play this. its a necessary title no matter what kind of games you're in to.

10/10, one of my new favorites

and my fav boss was probably the gaping dragon. its the first boss i had a tough time with in my first playthrough and felt super rewarding and gave me so much confidence that i was good and could beat this game. <3

pretty good survival game, lots of fun to be had here if you're a big survival nerd.

i really enjoyed base building but it got kinda tedious and took a long time to build a decent sized base. beginning of the game was really hard but you will quickly get used to it and understand how to survive fast if you just stick to it. im so glad i didnt quit early!

story is literally just mid 5/10 story. characters in this game are kind of annoying and its just sorta meh, nothing interesting.

later on ill probably do another playthrough for fun and then learn more about mud building and other mechanics!

def get though if you like survival games! its a must play for the genre.

this game has disappointed me on extreme levels to where i have to say just DO NOT BUY THIS.

ill start with what i like. i love the designs of the robots and world building in this game.

this game is funded by the real world country RUSSIA. the government has funded this game and it is directly tied to it. mundfish, the development team behind atomic heart, pretends that they dont associate with russia or recieve funding from them, but the truth can be found by companies such as tencent, and ESPECIALLY cyprus! also, mail.ru is a pro-russian social media based in russia, its extremly popular in that country and the game was released and promoted in a rip-off steam known as VK play which connected to mail.ru. AGAIN, mundfish wants nothing to do with russia! but works WITH THEM and tries to hide it. ridiculous.

why is them being affiliated with russia bad? because russia is a "democratic" country taht rigs their own elections, invades countries, and has turned into a dictatorship under putin. and in their TOS there is something that says the federation of russia has ACCESS to your information, location, and everything just because you bought and played the game! HORRIBLE DO NOT BUY!!!! I REPEAT, DO NOT BUY!

i am not surprised people criticize this game for trying to glorify russia and shove it in the western worlds face when playing. the intro was about an hour and a half long of a SOVIET parade. at first i thought it was just a long cutscene. but now? it just feels like propaganda.

ONTO THE ACTUAL GAME AND HOW IT PLAYS, LOL

the game's combat is a 4/10 for me. its "ok" but really it just turns AWFUL and bad really fast. this game wants to be like bioshock, but it plays so much more restrictive. guns feels so slow to reload and they dont feel like they carry any weight or damage. you HAVE to rely on your polymers for a lot of things, which isn't necessarily a bad thing, but it can really annoying to move around fast while managing a very slow and clunky polymer system while fighting with your guns. i like the melee weapons more than the actual guns, which i think sucks because theres less variety among the melee weapons. the polymers themselves? theres not as many as there were in bioshock, and they're less than impressive. you have ice, lightning, levitation, and uh...... thats... kinda it basically? theres others, but they're more passive or defensive. its pretty dissapointing when the game its trying to be like (bioshock) has way more plasmids such as the bee swarm or cyclone traps! those were fun and creative! this is just..... meh...

enemies ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ suck. they're just awful to be honest. ESPECIALLY in the open world levels of this game. this may be my least favorite things about the game actually! when you're in the story missions, its not so bad. at the beginning, i thought it was fun! but after the hedgie boss fight, i realized this system was so clunky and utter ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. there are sections of this game where they just throw WAY too many enemies at you. and yes, i might just be bad at the game, but there were moments were they threw 3 heavy enemies at me, and then tons of tiny ones, to where i was GETTING STUCK IN A WALL 7 TIMES IN A DAMN ROW BECAUSE THREE HEAVY ROBOTS WERE RUSHING ME DOWN, AND I COULDNT MOVE SO I DIED TO ALL THE LASER FIRE!!! HORRIBLE. AND THE OPEN WORLD SEGMENTS? THEY'RE ALL LIKE THAT. IT IS HORRIFIC GAME DESIGN! it made fighting in this game such a CHORE by the end.

and dont get me started on the writing, dialogue, and story. its just your generic "brain washed apprentice realize bad guy was evil cus he woke up..." SO cliche and disappointing. and then the sidekick of the apprentince "charles" TURNS OUT TOBE THE MEGA EVIL GUY. and the icing of the cake is that its all in a pro russia coating! AWFUL. i thought this was going to be a commentary on the collapse of communism, or critique of science being pushed too far. but nah. just russia EPIC! and russia scientist went too far..... evil! so i dont know. the dialogue is so awful. P3 has some of the most unfunny and annoying catch phrases ever. if i hear ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ "Crispy Critters!" one more time im going to blow my head off. and oh my god. get this! theres so many dead bodies around the world cus the robots went rogue, but in this universe, theres a special device that cant let them be conscious about a day or so after they die. so you can actually go up to them and talk. cool right? no, because THEY WILL JSUT INTERRUPT YOU WHILE CHARLES IS SAYING SOMETHING, AND YOU DONT GET TO HEAR CHARLES' DIALOGUE. SUCH A DUMB SYSTME WHO PLAY TESTED THIS???

the music,, EVEN THE DAMN MUSIC. there are some good tracks! but then HORRIBLE ONES. and none of it is consistent! THERE ISNT A VIBE OR SORT OF IDENTITY IN THE SOUNDTRACK. ITS DIFFERENT GENRES, ALL MISH MASHED. pop music, hip hop, electronic, heavy metal, ALL OVER. (mick gordon did do a track for hedgie, which is the only good boss in the game..... god THAT WAS THE ONLY GOOD PART OF THE GAME. AND THE SONG WAS BAD ASS!)

anyway thats all i got left in me for this review. DO NOT BUY THIS GAME. you'll be supporting a dictatorship and letting them have your information if you did! i bought this and didnt realize this before i bought! dont make the same dumb mistake!

A COMPLETE 2/10 FOR ME. HORRIBLE!
